That post is probably a town post. I cannot see scum wanting to push looking under the hood of a claim that clears them. I'll start looking through GR's ISO for his claim and that discussion. I might not get it done until tomorrow morning.

Oh okay never mind, it doesn't matter. That or I'm severely misreading what's going on right now.
They motivated Tierce because they thought she was town. I'd already looked back at that and it's consistent with how they behaved towards her day one. They then thought the the no night kill on night one cleared Tierce because they originally thought it also doubled the night kill, so she was doubly cleared.
In post 4376, Tierce wrote:Quick question that has been lingering: why did you defend me from Tammy?
Also, obvious fact: scum don't attempt to kill and Motivate Town for Towncred on the same Night.
That was a mistake. We misread our role PM and thought that our motivate also motivated the mafia nightkill, but on second glance I realized that I have severe reading comprehension problems(ie it doesn't). I didn't come forward to clarify things afterwards because we were still convinced you were town, so it changed into a mini-gambit of sorts.
tl;dr: I'm a complete dolt.
This action is where GR suggests that he thought his motivator motivated the scum kill.

The fact GR motivated you is facially irrelevant to you being clear. I think you're town for other reasons, but you wouldn't have the kill if you were hypothetically motivated. The fact you were motivated shouldn't have caused GR to clear you.

And for what it's worth I believe we cleared this up with the mod late D2 or early D3.
I figured he motivation was on Tierce. I might have gotten my words backwards. I was saying the motivation is irrelevant to clears and the logic sucks.

Yeah, I know, that's what I was asking Titus.
pedit; okay, he did motivate tierce.

Yeah I reread. I stated GR motivated you. My mistake. Still GR was clearing people using faulty logic and that irks me. I know he is not likely scum but still.

Tammy you and Nacho rock.
I'll be driving all day tomorrow but after that we'll see if I can out-obvtown Empire.
My powers of towniness range beyond adorable arrogance .
On voting behavior:
I hammer obvious-lynch-for-today wagons a lot. Think Yoloville.
Non-vote day was mostly a result of not reaching a joint let's lynch this person.

Tammy, I can tell you that the role isn't exactly the same effect--unlike your role in ADwD ("players who cannot double action will not be informed they have the ability to double action"), at start of N2, I was informed I was Motivated on N1 even though I had no active abilities to perform on N2.

I just drove like 6 hours; I promise I will respond once I get done passing out.

Ah...Okay I'm still under the impression that you don't motivate and attempt to kill someone on the same night.
THOUGH and here is somethign I've been toying with and I'm not sure how much sense it makes. In one of the last upick games I played that faraday modded, the scum team couldn't kill every day. They could only kill on one of nights one and two, and then one of nights three and four. That was a four-man scum team in a 16-person game. Don't know how applicable it is to here. Just saying. I'm not even sure why I brought this up. It's late and I need sleep.

Believe me you, when I consider multiball in this game, odd/even kills sound pretty likely.

Tammy, you're a saint.
Quote stripes still don't look as good on you as they look on me, though.

I'm not buying multiball this late. Even with alternating kills, we'd expect a) cross kills or b) a lynch of a member of this yet unknown faction. The only possible way that multiball exists is that "Chaos" is a vague generic for scum.

We've only had even-night kills.
Should we run up Titus today then or tomorrow?

We've received our prod. I love the walls of town reads, its been a while since my last good circle jerk. Still lynching TA. Still waiting for everyone to emerge from their turkey comas to come out and play.

I swear, SD and TA sound like alts of each other.
Just a reminder, my V/LA starts tomorrow and lasts through the fourth. I'll have another one on the 9 - 11th.

Unlike you, some of us are paying attention to the game. Tbf implicates Shadoweh too but it doesn't help your slot that your global rb falls on an odd-night.
You're comparison is amusing, a pre-schooler trying to be clever sort of amusing.

Gah, sorry Faraday (and all). Didn't think the long weekend would be this damn... long.
V/LA though until Wednesday (4th).
UHM.
I could really get behind either of those votes. Benmage or TA. I'll go with:
