it was a combination of your demotivation, and your paranoia of me. i think it was a lot of things. the biggest contributor was definitely the emotional aspect of the game. Protomen and SU2 combined were why i was so confident there.
too bad i couldn't do the same for the rest of the players i decided to be paranoid about. collaborating with you was fun.
remember what i had revealed and to whom? not fun. i kept losing track between the hoods, haha.

Hahahahaha that’s why hoods are like fucking OP. Imho one of the best power roles in the game because the players in them don’t ever get a break.
Please send me your puzzles people I missed not being able to do any.

Players would vote on which one they wanted to change to next, with the rule that no setup could happen twice in a row. Each setup would have dynamically changing roles and features, similar to how these first 3 setups worked.
Whenever you do that setup, please pre-in me. I might also pre-in with a hydra.

:-/ Rude.
I <3 you Taly. FWIW, your contributions were approximately infinitely more town telling than Alisae's.

I’m referring to Taly claiming for apparently no reason

This was my first return game in over 2 years of Mafia; so I forgot how people typically operate in this game, and that's what led to multiple moments of ignorance on my part.
You're also the second person I've ever hydra'd with
Ali
I wouldn't play the exact same way I did here in another Role Madness game.

I do believe that I'm a big reason why we didn't get lynched D2.

Especially after the
Taly VS OTM
and
Alisae VS SD

Guess the scum lost this one. Meh!
That's a great haiku about this game, give me props.
btw I tried to deny it but Alisae definitely had a point on us for you flaking out the way you did.

Yeah, sorry about that. Like, I am legitimately a big part of the issue we had, I'm not going to deny it.

So, heads up, folks.
I'm still really sorry this game crashed out. It was far too big for me to run with everything else going on in my life.
I'm now in a much more stable environment, albeit with far less free time.
I am looking to run some new games soon, but I'm interested in what themes you all would like to play and what kinds of games you'd like to play.
While I do love large games, I'm going to be avoiding them for awhile unless I can co-mod them with someone I know I can rely on to pick up my slack if things end up rough like this again. That said, I still believe I can run mini-themes without much issue.
So
What themes would you be down for?
What kind of game would you like to play?

Mike
Tyson
Mysteries!

So, real talk, if I do this Mike Tyson Mysteries game, it will be VERY VERY non-normal and also will require me to re-watch the entire series to make the roles perfect since it's been a hot second since I've watched an episode.
But it is something I'd like to do very much and could be a very fun game.

I am partial to another SU-verse game, or anime mix game.

There might finally be enough content for me to run another Steven Universe game, though I feel I'd be shortchanging folks to not run it as a large. I was secretly hoping to hold off on that until Summer if I could, but I may run it sooner depending on how thing shake out.
As far as anime goes, there are a lot of shows I like, but what are other folks into?
(I've been reading Gatch Bell, My Hero Academia, and Dr. Stone a lot recently
But haven't been watching anything, really. Like, uh, Tiger Mask W. Alice & Zoroku. Magical Girl Raising Project. Girls Last Tour. Made In Abyss. I'm way more caught up on western shows like OK KO, Ballmasterz, Star Vs., etc.)

I also just finished Wander over Yander if people are interested in that at all.

I've also been playing around with a theme game idea that's a U-Pick where everyone picks a player that's one of my regular players and gets a role based on that player's play in my games. Every day would feature a modified set of rules based on theme games I've run in the past and players could vote for which theme to visit for each next day. I think it'd be a much more feasible and less bastard-feeling version of what I was going for here and I could run it as a 13p.

What about One Piece?
Posted: Thu Oct 11, 2018 3:05 am
by Varsoon
Unfortunately, I don't have much love for One Piece. I've only seen a few episodes of the anime and I read about 300 chapters before I stopped reading the manga. It's neat and I like things about it but I'm nowhere near well versed enough to run a game (or, lets be honest, series of games) that could do it justice.
