For what it's worth, there were 2 slayers before Faith even made an appearance. The end of the first season also saw a death of buffy, and hence a second slayer (Kendra)...not that this is particularly relevant. Also not relevant is that there's an awesome episode of Angel where we see all the new slayers working together, and against the Angel crew.

I've lost most of my suspicion on ZONEACE.
Unvote: ZONEACE, Vote: BadAndie
. PBuG was a close second, and DoomCow third after that.

With the whole Zoneace V. Mathcam thing:

I didn't say it was a whole big thing, I meant it as in the two of you were have a mini conflict...not an argument. Just because I threw in a "V." doesn't mean that you are fighting.

And just because I threw in a "V." doesn't justify a vote. It seems like you are jumping from person to person. 1st Zoneace 2nd Doomcow 3rd PBug and then me. However I am the one that gets the vote...you are jumping from person to person trying to make us look scummy.

a) I don't think I ever attacked PBuG until that last post.
b) Well, yeah. Some of you
are
scum and it's the job of the rest of us to find out who. And if that entails prodding people with the occasional mild suspicion, then I'm all for it.

Vote stays for now.

Well, you implied I "jumped" to him, which seems more than "went after him slightly," but this is just a war of semantics at this point.

Also, that could imply that there are 7 townies (still left?), but wouldn't that be a bit too much power on mafia side? I mean 7 good and 5 bad to begin with. Or it could also be 7 good still left and 4 bad to find.

We can never rule out the possibility that it could be a recruiting cult that needs 7 more members to win the game, but that really wouldn't make sense though, it would be hard to do.

Also I am going to keep my vote on warpdragon for his lurkiness. I will remove it once he posts again.

Sorry for the confusion, olio. I failed to quote correctly. I was not switching my vote, I was quoting PBuG from post #30:

From that, we end up with a longish list of posibilites, based on where Flying Dutchman fits in. Also, how many Gentlemen were there? i think that there are four based on a google image search, but I'm not sure.
  1. 7 town, 5 mafia
  2. 7 town, 1 SK, 4 mafia
  3. 7 town, 1 SK, 2 mafia, 2 mafia
  4. 8 town, 1 SK 3 mafia
  5. 8 town, 4 mafia
  6. 8 town, 2 mafia, 2 mafia
Number 1 seems overpowered and number 3 doesnt match up with the nightkills (unless we had an acurate role blocker and an acurate doc).
Since the Gentlemen are all one group, I'd rule out 3 (again) and 6. 4 can be taken out because the picture i saw had 4 of the Gentlemen in the shot, although I'm not sure if others were cropped out.

This leaves us with 2 and 5. Can anyone remember if that line was up before w_w edited it?

BIG FoS: BadAndie

You are making too big a deal of things.

warpdragon: I think SOMETHING was there before, I remember very small blue text when the initial post was made.

1 is a definite no, 2 seems lik e ano, because, like 1, the mafia could win on day 2. 3 is possible, just because it doesn't match the night scene, we could have had a bloc, a doc, or a missed choice. 4 seems like a major possibility. 5 doesn't feel right, and 6 seems like another major possibility.

I feel like I would have seen it if it were there the first time... I have a tendency to copy and paste it. It's possible that it was in black, making it easier to miss, and on a later revision WW blue'd it up so that we'd notice it. Hmm. If this is the case, then it's probably important. Note that the last edit was on the 22nd, which was Wednesday, the day after the game started.

The problem I see with this line of reasoning is that it's a memorable quote, but it only possibly applies after a townie (i.e. FD) dies. Second, 4 mafia is a lot for a mini. Certainly heard of, but still a lot. I guess we'll see in future nights how many kills come.

It was there, i saw it i copy pasted it. so we need to stop arguing wether it existed or not. it said "They need to take seve, and they might take yours" which is an obvious reference to the Gentlemen from the season 4 episode "Hush" in which characters from a (i think it was german) fairytale in which scary looking floating guys need 7 hearts to do something (i dont remember what) and in order to obtain the hearts, they stole the voices of everyone in sunnydale, the only way to defeat them was the scream of the princess, which was buffy.

If I don't remember wrong, the link w_w now has in his/her signature was first there where we now have this "They need to take seven etc.". 8 townies in the beginning seems like a balanced game, in my opinion.

I'll
vote Vraak X
. Only one post during whole game.

I believe the musical link has been in w_w's sig since before the game started. Also, while I did suggest that the "need to take seven" quote might mean that our villain here is The Gentlemen, I think it's difficult to engineer the game such that there are a specified number of pro-town players to create a win-condition for the scum. To say nothing of the fact that if there is an SK, which is the case in most of the scenarios warpdragon set out, that would throw this premise of taking seven to win out of whack. I don't think the quote is telling us anything about where we stand numbers-wise, I just think it might be a hint toward who we're dealing with.

And finally, I think the level of meticulous detail going into a lot of these posts is calculated to look like contribution without actually being contribution. In particular, warpdragon has made three speculative posts that don't, in my opinion, contribute anything to the game. For lack of other leads at this stage,
unvote: BadAndie; vote: warpdragon
.

I think the warpdragon bandwagon is a good alternative to the BadAndie one:

Well, my role doesn't take place that far along either, which means, like I have said before, that we most likely have a good mix of characters from all seasons, I would speculate.

About Bandandie: I think she might have been a bit over-defensive, but I do kind of agree with her that her "v" between Zoneace and Mathcam only meant the discussion they (zoneace and mathcam) were having at the moment. But nonetheless, Badandie's response to be called on that seemed kind of weird, as she never implied going after him "slightly" on her post.
FOS: Badandie
for that.

About Mathcam: He did seem to actually jump around a bit, but there were posts in between that might justify his reasoning, although I am not entirely sure.

About my vote: I said I was going to remove it, but I think I will leave it on warpdragon for now because I do agree with Fuldu, although I know I haven't contributed much at all myself.

And well... it is time I go out and shave my head or something... Will check back later.

I don't hide the fact that my vote jumps around a lot. I don't see much point in leaving my vote on someone I don't find to be the most suspicious,
plus
voting for different people gives you the opportunity to see how they react to being voted for, which gives us more information.
