Why the Quilford wagon?

I will agree on the town VI hypothesis for now. Another detail in her posts shows that she tends to be clueless about the fishy potential of her proposal.

Moreover, I have never seen scum fish so blatantly.

Quick heads up - Going to be about less over the next few days until things get settled. . I start a new college course in the morning. Won't be about tomorrow evening as I am going for a midnight launch of Call of Duty MW3. Going to play things slow with the new course on MS until I can figure out how to balance things out schedule wise when I get my class schedule tomorrow.

This is a terrible idea. This equates you claiming a fluffy and adorable puppy. How is it possible that you do not realise this? And besides, this is fishing. Say that someone tells you that his dog is a German Shepherd who can find anything when he follows his nose. You will just assume that this person is likely a cop. Now I am forced to wonder which one is the explanation of your behaviour. (1) Reckless town - who just won the "VI of the game" trophy despite quil's efforts or (2) fishy scum.

Yes, but in a petsPick, I'm pretty sure a good majority of us have two of the most common pets out there which are dogs and cats for our animals. Everyone thinks their pet is adorable, I'm sure no one submitted a pet they just hated in a 'pet you love' mafia game. And I'm not sure 'young and spry' relates to a specific mafia role, do you?

The thing that worries me is not that glowball naively chose to reveal her animal's flavor so to speak, but the fact that this is a huge overreach over information that really equates to nothing specific about the role.

I'm curious now.
This seems a little forced, with the preempt asking if we could vote Roxi and then doing so after it was suggested to try it under the pretense of being "curious".

jasonT1981 wrote:Ahhh, I am torn so much on Quilford when I play him, I can not stand him and his play style 99% of the time legit. But he does this a lot regardless of alignment, maybe slightly more so as town. In saying that I will push him to actually explain his reads as he always skates by doing this.
jasonT1981 wrote:C.E.S. Can you actually show us please? I am not really getting anything scummy on Quil. In fact, I would be more likely to examine the wagon on him for potential scum.
Something about these two posts reads scummy to me, but I can't quite put my finger on it. With the Quilford wagon sitting a L-4 at the time of this post and seemingly gathering speed it looks to me like a soft, ambiguous way to get on the wagon if it keeps getting more steam while also softly defending Quilford.

UNVOTE:
VOTE: jason

As long as we are calling scum teams on page three I'll go ahead and say jason, Quilford, and glowball.

Okay so I've started doing this really early game reads thing, because it gets excellent reactions. The reads themselves aren't random, just based off of very little, like small language tells. For example iamausername reacted adversely when I used it in That 70s Smalltown (she was scum, I had a scumread on her as a result), and CES and DDDP have been subjected to it too, in [redacted]. I used it in some Open with glowball once, basing both of my reads off of confirmation enthusiasm -- and both of them were town as I predicted.

I've started to put a lot more stock in language tells, actually. They're right up there with VCA, in my eyes. In Box Office Mafia, they went a long way to finding chamber!scum (too bad nobody believed me).

So anyway I'll go pick out who I think scum are from that. I agree with the lewarcher vote, by the way.

@xvart: jason always tries to stick up for me as scum when I'm under pressure, the 70's Smalltown link above shows that pretty clearly. So I'm worried about him too.

Pretty sure glowball is scum if lewarcher is scum.

VPB and KK remain null. CES gets scumpoints.

I sure did. Feel free to meta me and see what I think of fishing as a scumtell. It is anti-town, but only moronic scum does it. But this does not prevent me from discussing the point with the player in the first place.

Explain, please. Are you voting me for thinking glow was fishing or for saying she wasn't after asking her if she was? Are you voting me for the reason Vi is voting me or for the opposite one?

You'll excuse me if I don't buy that. You said you've never seen scum fish so blatantly, but you just said that only moronic scum does it - so have you or haven't you seen it done?

Besides that, if fishing isn't a scumtell and you've ambiguously never seen scum moronic enough to do it before, why unnecessarily cast doubt on her? If you were looking for a discussion, it was awfully short and didn't include you much at all.
