Learning from ones mistakes is a good practice to have, unless the mistake involves one's own death, in which it's best to learn before the mistake.

I wouldn't have expected everyone to actually read the whole first post and notice that we actually had 2 scum,
and I don't know if people would have noticed my post in the confirmation stage.

Why not?

I never really expect people to bother to do so. Experience on another forum with hosting games shows that not a lot of people bother reading the first post.

@Blue Yoshi - Why haven't you answered this?

What reason are you referring to? What do you mean by "generally considered false"?

Do you know why I asked you?

If not that you are trying to get out of Rvs it is the fact your trying to use it as an excuse to defend yourself. That's what I found scummy

It's not the exact scumtell he talked about, but scumtells that are that exact aren't really very good.
How insistent he was trying to be with it confused me too.
And no, I don't know why you asked me.

Ms Marangal wrote:I'm concerned with the Yoshi flash wagon

Why?
Would you have been as concerned if it had only gone to L-2?
Does his being on his own wagon change that concern? Does it give you different concerns?

Blue Yoshi wrote:I wouldn't have expected everyone to actually read the whole first post and notice that we actually had 2 scum, and I don't know if people would have noticed my post in the confirmation stage.

I would probably have expected people to expect a team of 2 scum, seeing as this is a 9p Micro.

Which scumtell are you referring to, though?
What makes you think it was exact?
What makes you think he was being insistent?
Why did you change your wording from "generally considered false" to "not really very good"?
These are for clarification. I may or may not bring up the reason I asked about once these get answered.

@Pala: Thank you for pimping my questions. It's useful to me but unfortunately it apparently destroyed your ability to post content
i am so sorry are you ok?
which is a bit less useful to everyone.

@Ms M: Is your vaguely accusing Yoshi of buddying or am I imagining that?

@Seanald: I didn't realize you played the harp.

@zoo: What do you think of people mostly ignoring your "rolefishing" point ()?

@Syr: Do you have something more concrete from your "not quite right" feeling yet?

@zach: You have posted less than nine words so far. (This means that there are more words in the preceding sentence than you have written in this game.) Do you have anything of substance yet?

@mollie: you've been onsite and posting... where are you?

@gm: Where in the fuck are all these questions coming from?

Slightly... Didn't realize I was until you pointed it out though, I just don't like the prospect of being defended. it's done me huge trouble in the past

as for the flash wagon, I'm always concerned when one happens, and Yoshi happening to be on it doesn't make it that much less of a concern, though it does give me some other ones, yes. I would have been concerned even if it had only gone to L-2 because of the fact that people seemed to be Jumpy, and not thinking things through.

You're probably town. The connection between Yoshi and Ms.M is intriguing. Maybe too easy though. Blue expecting nobody else to read the first post like he did is malarkey. I wanted to press him on that without loading the question or influencing the response. Hence, short post. Didn't notice Marangal's connection until you brought her up, didn't have a read on you until your post of questions, and am so far null on everyone else.

Ms M, why so confident in swords townieness?

@Syr -
you do realize that you put Blue Yoshi @ L-1, right?
Would have been nice of you to announce that so we don't get an accidental speedlynch on page 2 before we can gain anything useful from this day...

I can't see scum freaking out about someone else freaking out about someone else being placed at L-1 unless they were me and they forgot about their alignment for a few moments...

unless he was doing this for looks, he's town. I'm not overly confident about it, but confident enough so that I can leave him alone for a while while I look for who may be scum. also, his first couple posts of the game is care-free.

why is being confident enough that someone is actually town matter to you zack?

what connection between me and Yoshi? If you're talking about me calling him out for buddying, how would that indicate that the two of us were actually partners, further more, my reaction to it?

I'm referring to the "every scum ever said this" thing.
The fact that he said "every scum ever" said this, which is an exaggeration and not true.
While it doesn't disprove the basis of what he's saying to be true, the fact that he tried to put more heat on me by saying "every scum ever" did this is just an excuse to try to get me lynched.
Because when I said "generally considered false" I was just going off of whoever said it wasn't a very good idea, moving over to "not really very good" was just because the way he was trying to use that one piece of info to get me lynched.

I don't like the way he was taking my lynch with not much info.

Yeah. I think his methods for moving us out of RVS are bogus. His so-called "actual info" is nothing of the sort and involves vague speculative filler involving the number of mafia and how likely they are to have PRs of some kind. No me gusta "vague speculative filler".

Also, his #67 gives me a headache.

Damnit Marangal, why do you
always
say things like this? You call swords town, then present a point that implies that
I
am town, rather than swords. Swords freaked out because I put BY at L-1.
I
freaked out because swords freaked out that I put BY at L-1. Also, your point about carefree first posts is pure nonsense. Everybody's carefree in RVS.

I actually disagree with this, I have said this more as town then as scum, and I have seen other townsmen do it as well. I'm not seeing how that post makes him scummy, though some of the other stuff do

I misread GM's post. I thought he was accusing you of buddying Yoshi, based on this post. The fact that you called Yoshi out for defending you in post 31 and then defended him five posts later is not something I feel good about.

Vote:Ms M

Also, I was wondering about your town read on swords because you mention it as early as post 12. That's why I'm curious about it.

GM, 9 player game. Process of elimination plays a big role in scum hunting at this point. Getting 6 town reads is just as good as 2 scum reads. Unfortunately, I have a bunch of null reads. I wanted it known that you are not one of them.

I did not defend him, I was stating a opinion. if you look, I still find Yoshi to be a potential suspect, just not from that post.

Sigh... Here's what you wrote.
Ms Marangal wrote:I can't see

Let's replace those silly someone elses and scums with names.

Ms Marangal wrote:I can't see

So essentially, your point becomes me being scum, because you weren't paying attention to what you were saying. Saying "Swords" twice in that context makes no sense. Now, if you'd said "Swords is town because he freaked out when Yoshi was placed at L-1", it would have made sense. Too many vague nouns.

oh, lol. semantic issues. I wrote that half-asleep, which is why I should never do that ever. take out a "freaking out about someone else" and that's the point I was trying to get across in regards to my thoughts on swords
