Hermy's known for self-voting IN LYLO as town.
How many times have she done it and what was the reason for her to do so?

The point of RVS is to garner reactions and informations, which is the widely-accepted method to start Day 1, the day with almost no information.
Am I right?

-L. J.
IMO, the purpose of RVS is to end quickly. A post that both moves out of RVS and prolongs RVS is a tad eye-catching.

Once that I remember.
For the reason of being scumread, no one had piled any votes yet and she self-voted then scum quickhammered.

Spoiler: Needless rant
That's not quite something I would agree with. Sure, it is optimal for RVS to end quickly, but stating the purpose of RVS is to just end it quickly is... That kinda defeats the whole purpose of RVS, now is it?

At least, now I can see where your post is coming from.

Spoiler: my own rant
well, maybe, but IMO only one thing actually
ends
RVS and that's game-relevant content, which IMO RVS mostly isn't.

RQS!!! U MUSTZ BE SCUM

It depends. But I think SK should be leashed most of the time. (The exception being the situation where it is pointless to leave SK alive, e.g. almost-town-autowin)

Just to clarify, if we ever come across a debacle whether to lynch or leash claimed SK, I'll be vehemently in favor of breaking its neck.

I don't see the point in trying to control a third party who has essentially already lost all hope of winning. There's no reason for them to follow along.

Back to my question.
What of that bothered you? Because that post looked quite normal to me.

-L. J.
Where did you get 'bothered' from a simple question? Why are you so bothered about her botheredness?

~Jekyll
I am bothered about her botheredness of that post because it somewhat bothers me how her question bothers my inner senses enough to be bothered enough to ask such a bothersome question.
tl;dr - It's awkward to me to see her pick up on things like that. It might be my memory failing me, but I don't remember her playing like this the last time I played with her.

Surely you must be joking.

Is it possible? Could I have found scum on page 1? That'd be a first.

It's an incredibly bad idea.

What's worse than ganking Townies is the shitstorm of drama it will cause among Town.

We think leash in the short run, and kill immediately upon deviation. We also feel like it's probably a moot point.

What was the reasoning behind this? I've seen respectable players do it because they know the game is winnable if they do so.

Honor, most third parties would rather see town win the mafia win plus there is always the chance that the town massively cock ups and they can win.

@GM: Can you PM everyone with a day start PM?

Fiiiine.

How would a game be winnable by self voting in LYLO as a townie? I'm not sure you're paying attention to what you're saying.

Holy crickets. I self-voted in Ly-Lo
- Once
- In my first newbie game
- When I was extremely pissed off
- And was going to get lynched anyway

I've never done it otherwise. Ugh. It was a one off, I feel stupid for doing so, but I'd truly prefer it if I wasn't labelled as bad for something I did ONCE, ages ago
