I got the same impression. His reaction was rather lukewarm. Not exactly scummy, and the fact that he apparently didn't even know who made the claim is interesting.

Wasn't surprised that BB wasn't a night 0 cop but Wake's rather cool, relaxed response caught me off guard especially being at L2.

I'm concluding that the set [BB, Wake] contains one or zero scum, but definitely not two. IMO, if both were scum I can't see why BB would immediately bus his partner at the start of the game. It might be either, or neither, but not both.

(I'm also leaning towards Wake being town for reasons other people say, but this conclusion is a lot less solid.)


Sidenote: I feel a night 0 cop would give the town way too much power since they are already given some info to start the game, but that's just me.

The conspiracy theorist in me wants to call you scum for knowing the setup yet not checking yourself to make sure a Night 0 cop was a thing.

But the captain obvious in me wants Wake to be lynched and then his flip will determine whether you're a liar or not.

Regarding Bo's question, I think that's a really good point, but it seemed like Wake didn't know who was making the accusation, and then BB gave it up pretty quickly after that, before Wake posted again. I wish he hadn't, but there's not much to make of it, I think (in terms of figuring out Wake's alignment from his reaction). I'm inclined to believe he's probably town based on it but not as strongly as I believe BB is town.

I had purposefully not given the entire answer I got from Anorway because I had just realized that BBmolla was probably trying to pull a reaction test.

Just asked the Mod. Apparently, anorway made sure to triple check everything, but also said he wasn't sure about a Night 0 Cop getting in there. (Probably because he didn't want to essentially tell me whether BBmolla was a Night 0 Cop or not.)

Actually I lied. I didn't realize it was a reaction test until I finished ^^^that. Then I saved this draft in the event someone thought I was lying to deceive everyone instead of lying to try to help deceive Wake.

before, and I know that this is Anorway's first game modding, so the Night 0 mistake was a possibility to me. If you were modding, for example, then I probably would've caught onto the gambit immediately.

Because BBmolla could claim it as a gambit and, in the end, get both of them off as town even though they're both scum.

Again, that's the conspiracy theorist in me. I don't think it's a likely scenario.

I do think BBmolla is town (unless someone has seen scum BBmolla pretend to gambit) because of this, but I think Wake's reaction doesn't help us. The only reaction that could've was if he simply gave up that he was scum already.
