For page 1, yeah, I especially thought his first post came off that way. But, like I said, I got a slight townfeel off of post 14 (?). The one where he pointedly asked Majiffy if he was a mod-player. That seemed a little more like keyed up town than scum.In post 50, DOMO wrote:Oh. To be fair, your account name wasn't called offensive. :/In post 52, DOMO wrote:I just consider his posts to be fluff, not town or scummy. I don't get the remotest hint of agression personally. How do you feel about catboi?
Scumfuck is my favourite of your hydra names so far!In post 53, Breakfast With Sandy wrote:To be fair, your account name wasn't called offensive. :/
Have you played with catboi before?
I took his list as less tongue in cheek than this one, where Mastin was the first player to post. I don't have a problem with people making quick reads on the basis of thin data as long as I can see they're still processing it when new data hits the thread. In post 39, DOMO wrote:Fair enough. I can see where you're coming from, I'm just a little alarmed at how easily you're towning people to reach these conclusions. In post 38, Adaptive Heap wrote:And you are defending Lucky, whether you realize it or not.
I've never played with him.In post 54, DOMO wrote:I don't think I've played catboi, though I might have in my early rev days. I feel like AH's fos at me is more town motivated than catboi's lurk and vote style, which is why I'm towning AH and scumreading catboi.
This is the smallest game I've played, I had to stop and crunch the numbers to see that you're right here.In post 55, Breakfast With Sandy wrote:Your playstyle is pretty aggressive. I can see why you'd be getting backs up, especially in a game that starts at what is potentially the day before LYLO.

Honestly, it felt like cheap fluff, one that could be posted in any Majiffy-modded game. (And very well might have been--that line feels way too familiar to me for it to be unique to this game.) Not scum, but not town, either--something he'd post regardless of his alignment. In post 43, Breakfast With Sandy wrote:That post gave me a slight, though rough-edged townfeel.
Indeed. Awesome as it'd be, I sincerely doubt I nailed the scumteam in my first post. My best guess right nowIn post 55, Breakfast With Sandy wrote:I don't have a problem with people making quick reads on the basis of thin data as long as I can see they're still processing it when new data hits the thread.
Well given that I've been directly interacting with you a lot, I'd say no.@Mastin, is whatever it was that impeded direct conversation between us in that game also in play in this one?
I didn't accuse you of being lurky, I said it seemed you were being lurky. My language was deliberately careful, I'm aware that it's pretty silly to make such a judgement after 1 page. But you made two posts - first post of the game and then you vote for me after I join a page in. You dodged the p1 chit chat despite knowing the game had started. Thus, you seem lurky, or at least you did based on those two posts. I could be wrong, I have no idea about you meta, but I don't like that you're twisting my language to suggest I made a direct accusation when I was merely posting what I thought about those who were in. Your vote on me seemed opportunistic because it could be interpreted as waiting for someone else to point the finger, maybe a potential town leader, so you could justify a non RVS vote. I'm seeing potential scum motivation there. In post 57, catboi wrote:Accusations of being "lurky" in what amounted to RVS are laughable. Forcing things much? :3
I don't really know how I'm supposed to defend against "exaggerated".In post 59, Adaptive Heap wrote:The tone of the post seemed a bit exaggerated to me as well (as did DOMO's entrance, actually).
The sooner the better really. I'm finding it pretty difficult to settle in because I'm on the defensive already. In post 60, Adaptive Heap wrote:I'll address DOMO tomorrow.
Common misconception. I like the RVS phase quite a bit actually. I just approach it a little differently. In a large game I usually wind up with at least 2-3 townreads that stand the test of time during RVS and the transition to srsbsns. In post 59, Adaptive Heap wrote:Scumfuck-ffery-head I know to not be a fan of RVS so no vote is nothing unusual.
Danke! In post 58, Adaptive Heap wrote:HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAJIFFY
I know the individual meaning of the words in this post, but when I attempt to parse them as a sentence none of it comes together. Seriously, "I didn't accuse you of being lurky, I said it seemed you were being lurky." Is there any difference, other than hedging your language? In post 61, DOMO wrote:I didn't accuse you of being lurky, I said it seemed you were being lurky. Read my 3rd post. I don't think it was a joke.In post 69, catboi wrote:I'm being opportunistic on a joke fos in RVS. Okay.
Why are you feeling so defensive? You're only at L-2 at the moment and the only other folks (aside from our slot) who've indicated they might want to lynch you, are already voting you.In post 61, DOMO wrote:I don't really know how I'm supposed to defend against "exaggerated".In post 59, Adaptive Heap wrote:The tone of the post seemed a bit exaggerated to me as well (as did DOMO's entrance, actually).
Who is supposed to take credit for your actions, if not you? Who is the next best lynch after Scumfuck? (Seconding DOMO's question about reads or suspicions from your perspective)In post 64, Lucky2u wrote:You are all giving me too much credit for my actions, both the people reading it town and scum. Yes. Please. :DIn post 66, Majiffy wrote: Maybe when I get a copy of it, you guys can see me singing Blackstreet's "No Diggity" at karaoke last night.
