This is the place to be.

Also, Orcinus, what was the point of voting for Mhork right after he declared that he had other stuff distracting him from the game? The only real reason I can think of is because you were trying to look like hipster town, with the end result actually not being that town.

what's the point of asking me this question now, before mhork has entered the thread?

Your pressure on Mhork was unlikely to lead anywhere interesting, and I'm not going to wait around for him to come back.

I mean the point was that he said he wasn't involved in the game, so you're much better off reaction-fishing with someone else if you're going to do that.

fair

but i think the obvious answer here is that l-1 is far more impactful than l-2 (since scum could literally quick hammer you) and that being the sole vote on something else that seems less interesting doesn't lead anywhere useful either

which, coincidentally, also is my answer. is your smp vote serious?

yeah well no

i mean if someone just flat out isn't going to be involved with the game, I'm going to policy lynch them because they serve no utility to town and because i have no way of figuring out their alignment

i tend to start off with the assumption that they will be, because of this

and idk nobody else has been around for me to live-time interact with so i can't do my normal jazz in RVS. in any case, 57 is undoubtedly a play style preference, and i'm curious as to why you're imposing that on me as (i assume) a reason that i'm not looking town

Current site meta dictates that town are actually much more likely to quickhammer, and given the high rate of day 1 mislynches, it's not far off statistically beneficial.

DV seems to really want to be doing the right thing.

So, gut town read, first person that pops into your head.

i actually have an opinion on d1. it's better to mislynch than to lynch scum

but that's ok, that's not actually related to this game

Mm, relational tells are a fruitless avenue when you get the first scum too early. Or something like that.

I disagree. Lynch scum day 1 and you have less relational tells but more time to analyze them and opportunities to be wrong. I'd rather have that then 3 mislynches in a row just for relational info.

My SMP vote was serious.

Orcinus, my scumread on you is equivalent to your scumread on Mhork. I'm not sure why you would think otherwise.

French, no one pops into my head.

The pace of this RVS is kind of refreshing given my recent spat of games and their annoying tendency to produce 80 page day ones.

Orcinus, ice, Mhork are all town.

Unvote
