Notes:

Cult: Leader recruits at night. They win if they get the majority of 1 more than all other factions combined. So, I can see this being like multiball and scum wanting them gone as well. Check for any behavior changes next day for alignment switch.

Lyncher: Knows lynchee, lynchee won't know who they are, so look out for someone going after another person kind of hard.

Survivor and Jester: I don't care about them really.

Everything else is self explanatory.

It usually doesn't mean much but every once in awhile you might be able to catch something interesting. Mostly it just gets discussion going. It's better than all of us staring at each other I suppose.

A normal Cult Leader can recruit anyone, no matter who they are. However, if a Weak Cult Leader tries to recruit Mafia or Serial Killer, the Weak Cult Leader will die (everyone else he can recruit, lynchers/survivors/etc. included).

Also note that if cult is the majority of the players then town loses and the cult will win.

OK, So cult is a threat to town. Got it. And lynchee can be any alignment.

OK, So we really want to take out cult and mafia both. To me, it's like those games where there are werewolves who can kill and mafia who share a PT but can't kill. Both are deadly to town.

Lyncher is only a problem to one person. It would suck if that person is town so we can watch for it.

And I totally forgot about the weak modifiers but that makes a difference.

A Lyncher is considered a threat to the town and town cannot win with a Lyncher alive.

Has anyone sat down and tried to start on setup spec? I've white boarded the possibilities as I see them, but I'm not sure it would be wise to share thoughts openly just yet. Scum obviously are going to have a leg up on figuring the spec out, especially if early flips help them narrow down the role categories which got either very few or a lot of rolls.

Someone already claimed Hated, which can be any of the following:

• Hated Weak Cult Leader (Weak is a modifier that if they visit mafia they die, so this implies the cult could recruit scum)
  
• Hated Townie (Looks like there could only be one of these no matter what)
  
• Hated Survivor
  
• Hated Serial Killer

P-Edit: The cult, if we have one {Only town and mafia are guaranteed stuff if there are zero rolls in their number range}, if a danger to both town and scum, I think. The cult wins if it can recruit enough people to have half of the people in the game +1 (rounded up I think since it says majority +1). The game setup says that the Lynchee doesn't know who he is and will get a Vanilla town PM.

The Lynchee can be any alignment. If a Lynchee was in this game, I would first randomize the roles, then pick a random person to be the Lynchee, no matter what alignment. I have added this to the game-specific rules in post 3.
