Also, I don't really give a fuck who you're voting during RVS, but when you say something like "He knows why", that makes me really curious.
That's the only thing I care about is understanding what you two know that I don't.

I get the RVS vote part, however, saying "He knows why" prompts questioning on what he did that'd prompt the rvs vote.

I guess I'm just curious why you single my vote out as something that needs discussing. You didn't say anything when flavor voted for me without any explanation. Or say anything about anyone else's votes.

And to the alt thing, this is the account I play all my games on, I usually just mod on Boonskiies now. I let it be known in my signature.

I took the “he knows why” as a subtle nod to them knowing each other, and having some kind of story from a past game. I do that a lot in RVS towards people that I had memorable games/moments with, especially if it’s the first game with said player since.

Like for instance, Formerfish here and I go way back, and I haven’t played with him a while, so for me, RVS’ing is similar to a greeting. Like “this is me acknowledging you”.

Which is why my RVS is on Fish.

And that made me take notice and actually read FLs posts, which let me figure out hes boon, and then i moved my rvs vote to a better rvs choice.

Also, yours was the only one I really wanted to question the most because "He knows why" is really mysterious.
Everyone else's I've seen, are rather self-explanatory (IMO), or don't have a reasoning.

Stuff I Found Online IV literally just finished with me in that game with xx as well. He was scum and won. I wanted to see what he did when he saw my vote on him and me telling him he knows why.

Yeah, explaining to you about my reasons for voting him kinda negate the reaction I was hoping to observe. Its like the scene in My Cousin Vinny where he holds two fingers up and the judge says for the record that two fingers are being held up. Imagine im giving you the face the judge gets as a result.

I think Korina's right there. RVS is a time where you gather information primarily, isn't that moving towards our goal - to find the two scum? So if someone makes a purely random vote, and / or cant be accountable for their vote that's not helping town any. Questioning the motivation behind a vote is however exactly what moves us forward

And before you ask, my vote was because an avatar is a good way to keep track of who is saying what without having to squint and read the username

@lcpl, there's really no reason behind my vote. I just picked the last person to post before me who didn't already have a vote. dojaj was the one when I was reading the post, but lamees and I posted at roughly the same time, so the posts are out of order, as you may have noticed.

This whole post reeks of LAMIST feelings for me. The whole line about "moving towards our goal" just gives me the ickys.

I want to say this now, I am not opposed to answering Korinas question, I was opposed to being asked to explain it before it had time to run its course for me to see what I wanted to see. And if you read my posts you would have seen that my opening was done in a way that was on purpose. I have explained why I did what I did, so to say that I am in any way hindering us from gaining information is a misinterpretation at best and a misrep at worst.
