(i feel like the simple doctor would be better over macho modifier considering mailman is also clearable on setup spec and macho modifier indirectly clears the doctor claim and that'd be two clears and an invest; however, if that's not too unbalanced then i'd be down for the macho modifier on the TA)
i think i dig the mafia MD as they're able to PR hunt and hunt for investigative targets but not know which is which

I don't know if mailman is clearable on setup spec given that we almost just made it scum :P

Did you intend for the MD to be multitasking? It makes sense for it to be... but I don't want to run into bullshit like we tried to do in Jazz Mafia where we tried to confirm that LUV was really a voyeur, which would have cleared him unless multitasking.

I mean, you're allowed to reveal setup info in the rules. You can always just say "if scum have any visiting PR's, they will be multitasking." Yeah people would read into that and assume there is one, but that's kind of unavoidable if you want to warn town about multitasking.

I don't like the hint idea. If you want to give info to town like that, just make them informed. Making the mailman informed would also give them something to say in their message.

Non-multitasking scum just irks me in general, but it makes sense here with the traffic analyst.

out of curiosity;

how would something like this fare?

1-shot loyal neighborizer
motion detector
visitor
fv x 4
goon
encryptor

thats like 1 clear (1-shot loyal neighborizer may or may not be mislynchable ?? likeeee i mislynched CJ as one but saudade managed to last a whileee in my large normal)
and MD has a little more entropy/wiggle room for scum than tracker esp w the visitor (but is also less lynchable just based on the existence of the visitor...)

loyal neighborizer loses the communication advantage w/ daytalk disabled and cant even talk to their clear until n2 but still has that clear at least

Be nice. It's a game.

General:
- Please adhere to the site rules.
- Do not discuss this game of mafia outside of this thread.
- Day phases will last 10 days (or until a lynch is achieved).
- Night Phases will last 48 hours maximum. On any given night, if all players PM me that they are okay to speed up the night, it will end sooner.
- During night phase, no talking may be done in the thread.
- Do not quote PM's from the mod at all (real or fabricated). Paraphrasing is acceptable.
- If you have any questions about your role, or the game, feel free to PM me.
- "Bah" posts are not allowed.
- Don't publicly talk about potentially replacing out, and don't publicly request for other players to replace out. If you have an issue that may need to be resolved through a replacement, please feel free to bring it up privately with me!
- If you break any of these rules, you may be modkilled (only with a listmod's blessing) or force-replaced.

Voting / Player actions:
- Vote either with vote tags (VOTE: Skygazer) or with bold (

). You may use nicknames and abbreviations if you wish, as long as it's unique to the player and I can figure out who you intended to vote.

- As well, if you require more than two prods, I will force-replace you.

Mechanics:
- 006688 is my color. Feel free to use it if you'd like! Just not to impersonate me or to mislead others.
- No impossible/hard to read text, or cryptography. For example, I would prefer that no font size smaller than the one you're reading now be used.
- I may make mistakes - please point out any mistakes gently. Mistakes will be corrected where possible, but sometimes mistakes are made that cannot be reversed. These will stand as final to be commiserated over after the game.
- If you need to get the mod's attention, either PM me, or bold the text you wish to draw to my attention.
- I reserve the right to alter/remove/add any rules as I see fit. You will, of course, be notified if that happens, however.
- This is a normal game and follows normal guidelines.

Barring an extraordinarily mechanics-ignorant town or a scum strong investigative CC, neighborizer shouldn't be lynched. Leaves two hard clears, a couple of potential soft clears pending setup spec and claims, and plenty of room for confusion.

Only thing I don't like is that MD can get clears after a scumflip... maybe a N1 MD?
