That leaves PP or myself. So just how sure are you that there is at least 1 scum between us?In post 49, Gyro Zeppeli wrote:Im just gonna say at least 1 of my voters are scum for sure, and Phoenix’s reaction of instantly voting me back seems cool beans
Fag0enix could also be scum with his vote back but i got more doubt on that cuz i would’ve done the same as him.In post 52, CheekyTeeky wrote:That leaves PP or myself. Homophobic slurs are not tolerated on this site jsyk. I don't get the joke about returning to ToS? I guess this wasn't a case of mistaken identity then?In post 48, Gyro Zeppeli wrote:, i do a joke vote on Fag0enix
Why would town start a wagon for no reason? In post 53, Gyro Zeppeli wrote:there’s 0 reason to start a mini wagon like that especially if no clear proper reasonings?

I dont know why would they? Hence why my 2 extra votes on me make no senseIn post 55, CheekyTeeky wrote:Why would town start a wagon for no reason? In post 53, Gyro Zeppeli wrote:there’s 0 reason to start a mini wagon like that especially if no clear proper reasonings?
Just like an RVS vote, RVS wagons can generate information from the reactions of both the wagonee and others jumping on or/refraining from voting. It's a fairly common opening. In post 57, Gyro Zeppeli wrote:I dont know why would they? Again, you are mistaken. But I guess the username is kinda common.Gyro Zeppeli wrote: Phoenix uses the Tos forums too
Same, honestly. I voted you just because you voted me, no other reason. However, seeing that you're L-2 right now is bothering me. I know RVS is a thing that exists, but still, it's a bit much considering we have no leads. And apparently none of the other two are willing to withdraw their votes despite all of this, which, to be fair, is questionable, so...In post 59, Gyro Zeppeli wrote:Small Pp is prob maf then imo, i see a 3rd vote as needless pressure
I don't think that 3 people voting for the same person necessitates that we are out of RVS; however, I do think the discussion between you and Cheeky has helped to push us out.In post 46, Farren wrote:Although with three people voting the same person, I think it's safe to say we've moved on from that point by now. Mildly annoyed with myself for not realizing Gyro was at L-2.
Probably should just point out for transparency's sake...I tend to play differently in the Newbie queue (though it's been two years) than I do outside of the Newbie queue. For example, you won't see my typical GIF responses. Take that as you will (also Alisae v Pine is not a good game to get my scumgame from since my play was heavily coached by Pine). In post 42, Farren wrote:After reading some of PenguinPower's past ISOs (Micro 898, Alisae v Pine), I think I'm okay with PenguinPower.
I like wagons. In post 51, ArthurConyl wrote:Well it looks like Ph0enix voted Gyro back after Gyro voted him, but how come CheekyTeeky and PenguinPower voted for Gyro?
Just going to +1 this. Please don't do it.In post 54, CheekyTeeky wrote:Homophobic slurs are not tolerated on this site jsyk.
Why do you see it as needless? I see it as the exact opposite. In post 59, Gyro Zeppeli wrote:Small Pp is prob maf then imo, i see a 3rd vote as needless pressure
Same question. If we have no leads, how would you prefer we go about trying to get them?In post 60, Ph0enix wrote:However, seeing that you're L-2 right now is bothering me. I know RVS is a thing that exists, but still, it's a bit much considering we have no leads.

I mean there's only so much information you can get on Day 1, let alone from one particular person on Day 1. If you haven't withdrawn your vote yet, I will assume you think there's something more we can learn from Gyro. I'm not sure that's the case but you may have a valid reason to think so and I would be glad to hear it.In post 66, PenguinPower wrote:Same question. Granted there is limited information that you can obtain during Day 1, but Day 1 is also one of the most important days for analysis once you get to later game phases - and especially after a red flip. There is also VCA ("Vote Count Analysis") that can be done in later phases, where you look at who voted where and when and what was happening around those votes. This tends to provide good information, and you can make educated guesses about what scum would tend to do.In post 68, Ph0enix wrote:I mean there's only so much information you can get on Day 1, let alone from one particular person on Day 1. Fair point, but until you convince me there's more to learn about Gyro at the moment, I prefer to hear one of the quieter guys, as noted in Gyro's post.PenguinPower wrote: Granted there is limited information that you can obtain during Day 1, but Day 1 is also one of the most important days for analysis once you get to later game phases - and especially after a red flip. For example: If Gyro flipped scum today, we could go back and look at who put him to L-1 during an RVS wagon and think, "Would scum really put their partner being at L-1 and risk a hammer that early in the game?" Of course, we didn't get there, so...
VCA is one reason I really like wagons. Votes mean more than words, and a harder to manipulate.
Mama mia, this is so sad
