i thought you had a vote on you already but checking again you didn't
(yeah in newbie games i sometimes try to add an rvs vote to an already existing wagon because it exerts some level of early pressure that might be informative depending on how much experience people have)
Oh, Ms. Skitter * (sorry)
I agree, this is a smarter way to use RVS. I will make a mental note to use it later.

btw datisi why are you not interested in knowing why skitter30 has a townlean on yourself
like isn't it a good idea to know why people have a townlean on yourself

hmm
usually perhaps
but right now i'm more interested in hearing skit's thoughts on you than i am on me
do you think she should not be townleaning me?

do you see this as a bad thing? why/why not?
datisi is mostly for this post because i was thinkign the exact same thing
it's not impossible for scum to fake but i think for like p2 it's a decent thing to use to start generating reads
generalwu is entirely gut for rn

no
i'm just curious why you're more interested in hearing why she townleans me than yourself.

also I like the fact that skitter wants to move the game along

My impression is that he is in doubt about you.
Which is why he wants to hear her reasoning in your TL.

ok so
asking skitter about why she's townleaning you potentially helps me figure out 2 things based on her response: (1) skitter's alignment and (2) your alignment
asking her on why she's townleaning me helps me figure out only (1) skitter's alignment (because i already know my own)
however
i am also aware of the fact that our third SE has an at least decent read on skitter
which is probably better than mine (provided he's town and i really hope he is)
so i will kind of let him read skitter probably
now you might be saying
"but datisi that is bad form you need to read all the slots yourself and sheeping is bad and what if you read the other SE wrong and blah blah blah"
to which my reply is
it is past 2 am
i am tired
i am ill
leav me alone

It's better if you've had firsthand experience with that player (rather than reading a game you never played in), and even then it's still not quite effective compared to other methods.
i think the more information one has access to, the better. i also find reading other games to be a very effective way to learn the game, in general. but i am very new and there probably comes a point of overload.

treating me as confirmed feels like an early attempt to get pressure on me if/when i become unconfirmed.

I feel like playing in games is much better than reading them
Because you get to firsthand experience all the stuff.
Whereas in reading a game you haven't played in before, you're generally more prone to bias and misinterpretation.
In addition, meta doesn't work well on people who have vastly different playstyles from game to game.

fair enough , those two games are kinda mashed together in my head for that reason lol
i don't think we played together either if you weren't in 1951

This seemed like a threat.
So if I caught you,
scum!skitter
will also get me lynched ?
Perhaps a suggestion that being passive is less, theoretically, beneficial to you, since you could get more benefits from being active.

hmm this is odd

it wasn't a threat? i was relaying the events of the game in a way that i thought would identify the game because i forgot the game number
i'm actually a little confused how you read that as a threat
and i'm not sure i understand what you're saying about being passive/active

what is odd about it exactly?

If it was not your intention, nevermind. I usually have an atypical way of reading things. But it seemed like a threat to me.
