Hi Tammy! You missed an utter stomp by town in Cabdgame. First town stomp in any of his games afaik. Even if petapan tried to talk himself into scumreading me

there were a few reasons for that
1. incredibly dumb confirmation biased worldbuilding by me
2. paranoid setup spec ("i'm a pt cop so if there's a neighborizer
3. not as obvtown as half the game (this was a high bar (although if i'd actually been reading you more closely i probably would have got it))
4. bulge just outed part of the last reason:

petapan absolutely snowed me as my neighbour and humiliated my extremely stoned ass in limlo in a recent marathon lmao

having effortlessly pocketed him without really trying and witnessed multiple times offsite where people just got completely fooled after being neighborized by their friends, something like "i've just been neighborized by someone i'm very sure is town" set me into panic-mode, because i do not trust that dynamic

Yeah, I knew I wasn't as obvious as some people, and part of that was deliberate design on my part. Being the doc/JK, I set out to look just scummy enough to appear to be a plausible misburn. As for the neighborize, I'm glad ffery was in the game, because if she hadn't been I'd have used it on you, and you were immune to day actions! Which would've shot my "neighborize the IC, claim to him, and keep him from harm" plan right to hell.

As for our neighborhood, and you'll see this when Cabd outs it, I basically just used it as a mason thread. I've seen ffery's scumgame enough times to know she was town there, and in no universe, even her paranoid caffeine fueled ones, does me!scum identity claim to her in an anon game then neighborize her. I'm not that good. Our neighborhood ended up being like 40 pages though!

Mostly I'm giving you shit because you're the elected president. In seriousness though, I haven't played in a long time and one of the things I'd put in my PT was "ask people what I could've done better after game is over". If you have any critiques I'd appreciate it!

I've been pretty decent at sussing out scum in my neighborhood. A couple games I'd probably not realized they were scum without the neighborhood.

I think my worst showing was Tales of You when Penguin was my neighbor and my read was townscumscummaybescumtownmaybetownscumscumidon'tknow, which was my read on the entire game. I'm pretty sure it was the worst absolute worst game I've ever played in every sense.

When I saw that I was like hey cabd do syry and ffery realize who each other are? Cuz they just said rift adrift to each other. He said he noticed and that it didn't break any rules. But I wasn't asking for that; I mean signaling is pretty typical in anon games, but I thought it would be absolutely hilarious if the rift adrift just happened organically and not a signal

ahh nah, you were fine. despite playing this game since 2010 i never feel like i have any wisdom to impart because i'm always just trying to figure out what i can do better. i'm only recently coming off a 5 year retirement myself and that game was maybe the first i've played where i felt like i didn't play like ass and i still feel like i coulda done some things differently. if anything, in hindsight, your reads were really good. game just had a weird dynamic due to the elected IC thing.
