To be honest, I havent played MTG since College. way back in 1991. I dropped it before it became the monstrosity it has become.
and the only card I miss is My Ivory Tower. That card kept me alive more often than not.

I didn't read that I don't think...I just saw the title and signed up.Glork wrote:Mod Note: All roles in the game are Instants or Sorceries from Magic: The Gathering. I made the announcement in the sign-up thread under the assumption that people would read it before signing up for the game. Apparently my faith in my players was somewhat misplaced.
And clearly I know less about magic than I thought I did...How do I know the edition?
Is it to do with that little picture?

to be clear, my card was in alpha, beta, unlimited and revised, and no later sets.
all this set claiming is good and stuff but we need to get back to the playing of mafia.
grimmy, what is your assessment of roffman at this point?
mastermind of sin, has the claiming of sets been useful to you yet?

I thought we were still in the joking vote part of the game, that I have seen in most of the other games.
Ill look into indivudual analysis of other posters tomorrow when I have more time, and will give you my answer then.
but one point i have noticed: Natirasha ALWAYS votes for himself on the first day. Always. so there is nothing to read into that one.

more tomorrow.

er, mastermind, i don't think the lynch somebody regardless of their alignment stance is very protown, it looks like a really easy way for scum to orchestrate a mislynch without dirtying their hands very much.
i'll reconsider this if you can provide some meta references to games you've pushed the same strategy as town.
and even if you can i'll continue to disagree with you on the topic.

All it will do is ilicit my role. Then scum will hammer. Don't you know how it works?Mastermind of Sin wrote:fyi, we should probably lynch Natirasha today. Regardless of his alignment, he promises to always be anti-town even as town. Might as well make a useful lynch out of day 1.

I've done it to DrippingGoofball/Toaster Strudel on numerous occasions, but I don't think you understand what I'm talking about, because those situations aren't relevant. I'm not saying that Natirasha is a bad player who will hurt the town. I'm saying that Natirasha prides himself in activelyroflcopter wrote:er, mastermind, i don't think the lynch somebody regardless of their alignment stance is very protown, it looks like a really easy way for scum to orchestrate a mislynch without dirtying their hands very much.

trying
to hurt the town in every game. He even tried to get the title "is Anti-Town" or some similar variation in the Title Fairy thread. Because the player himself does not want to help the town win, we are better off lynching him now rather than hoping for a good lynch D1. He could still be scum, which would be an extra bonus.Permanent V/LA.
/confirming...sorry I got the Role PM but didn't bother to look in the thread. Sorry everyone, it's been a tiresome week which doesn't help the fact I am retarded.
My card is from alpha, been reprinted quite a few times. Not in the past few sets though, at least as the way I am.
I don't like the lying about being Sygg...even though I can't tell if that is a joke or not. If its not...that could be a horrible obvious fakeclaim.

Doesnt matter if it was a joke or not. It's like claiming doc in an open game as a joke. you don't do it and get let off with nothing.
Combine that with the anti town thing and we have a lot of reason to lynch him. Aye none of it is what we would normally like in a lynch situation.
