te straight up claim is because i have never been informed before in a game. i have zero idea what to do with it, so i thought to myself "lets keep this simple". I even said in my confirmation email to the mod that i planned to just announce it in my first post.
my thinking was - people should read me as town - this is just such a stupid thing to do if scum
second - i am assuming there is some sort of protective role/unkillable role on town side and they'd like to know about the strongman thing -
third - if i ever claimed after today it would just look weird - like an excuse to out someone or a lame town claim that couldn't be checked - so claim now
