I echo Psyche's comment. This is certainly an argument you can have publicly, if you so choose, but this isn't the place to rehash your interactions a year ago un an entirely separate thread with a mod who is no longer a mod and who hasn't posted in this thread

I used to be gung-ho radical free speech etc because I'm a left-wing libertarian type but years of moderating a web forum has taught me that in a communal space you've gotta have *some* rules about racist/sexist language. there's people out there who like to use racist/sexist language to make other people feel bad because that makes them feel good or just because they get a kick out of rustling jimmies. you don't lose anything really by disallowing racism, but you do lose the voices of people who will just avoid the space due to discomfort. I'd rather have the 9 people who would just avoid conflict than the 1 person who loves to hurt people.

I'll just cap this off by saying I would tell you to shut the fuck up, but it's probably better to have people regularly proving that anime avatars are a handy marker for stupid posts that you can safely disregard.
