You hint around it and then when you posted this: "his claim makes me very sure he is scum. I cannot expand without revealing my role"SC wrote:Please show me where I implyed powerrole at all.
There would be no disadvantage to you just outrightly saying you are ordinary townie to secure the lynch. I dont think you are as 'cleared' as you like. However, I am but one vote. Hopefully a scary spine tingling, hide under the bed scary. But only one.
Glork - you claimed an anti town role. The fact that you did so early probably means you arent mafia-scum. This does mean we do need to be rid of you to stop you winning the game. I dont feel now is the right time to be rid of you, but we should consider it soon. 10/10 is based on your scuminess factor. The fact I am not voting you is down to a tactical pov.

Are you claiming I'm psychic and put my ass on the line here, when if I was wrong I would be jumped on by any and all townies?Amb wrote:Is that so?SC wrote:I dont think you are as 'cleared' as you like.

NEVER
both the town and I will win the game.
If I am alive when the mafia achieves their win condition (presumably majority control of the town), both the mafia and I win the game.
If you do not believe that I am a killing role or some other direct threat to the town
, then you have no reason to spend a day lynching me.
It's just not tactically sound at all, contrary to what you may believe.Do you think I'm an SK? Why? How does last night (no kills) shake down if that were the case?

Two examples of Survivors from past games --
neither
of them surviving meant that any other group/team could not win:

Yes, you are lavos, the destroyer of the world, the red star of power, the source of zeal's... well, zeal.
But no, you're not evil. You're just a simple creature, trying to survive, and that's what you ahve to do here.
You win as long as you're alive at the end of the game.
Let's just hope that your latent abilities don't manifest...
Emphasis mine on the second role PM. Note that this one even states that they willJeff Probst, Survivor Mafia, wrote:Neutral:
Charles Davis Mike Skupin – you were never given the chance, and I feel sorry for you. Here’s an interesting role in return. Each Night, view one person, and learn their role name. If you are ever targeted for a night kill, you can give your killer information in exchange for your life - don't give redundant information, though, or your life will not be spared. You may not expose two Townies consecutively to your killer. Your victory condition is simply to survive. Fitting, no?If you are alive at game end,Please ask if you need clarification. Just to pipe in with my two cents on the recent discussions:
I find no reason to lynch Glork. There's been no extra kills so far, no anti-town play. If all scum are dead and the game is still going on, then I'd consider it. But until then? No reason.
Glork, clarification if you will. Why did you PM the mod and ask what you'd turn up if investigated? The survivor role is a pretty common role with a clear-cut neutral alignment, so what made you wonder that you may be a role that gets a guilty result?
I also find SC pretty clear in my mind, both for solidifying the lynch on DoS and having the info needed to bust his false claim. If he were not a townie, it's pretty silly for the real townies to not call him on his bluff, and they haven't.

I was curious to see if it would be "Neutral" or "Innocent." (There is discrepancy among mods -- some think that any non-malicious role is "Innocent," whereas others think that a neutral role is "Neutral.") As it turns out, I think it's Not Scum. Or something like that.

I was reading through again, and I noticed that SC already said what I just said in my last post. Excuse my repetition. It's a good point though.
And also, I'm still waiting for a replacement for NaR, preferably before we go to night.

"Do you think I'm an SK? Why? How does last night (no kills) shake down if that were the case? "
That would prove that PP is scum. If you were SK, I know who you tried to kill (My protection) and the other kill would have been blocked by the roleblocker. That said it isnt likely, but not impossible.
No, I have not played with a survivor before.
I think I'll just go back to lurking.

I'm not saying you suck... I'm just saying that I have a couple of years of experience and know how things are more likely to shake down. I'm just saying that I think your naivety comes from inexperience, that's all.DeanWinchester wrote:I like how glorks defense of me is he sucks leave him alone.

I understand your point and I would normally agree with you, but I 100% believe she is coming up Paranoid/naive cop. IMO the lynch is better on somone else.
And as far as mass-claim goes It's hard to believe there is much town power left and with only four poeple not claiming I think it might be a good Ideal.
I just wanted poeple to actively discuss it.

Yeah, sorry about that. School is interfering and yesterday when I wanted to reread the whole thread, it was ORANGE. I made it to page three before I had to go out and shank a homeless man in order to regain some semblance of sanity in my world.yellowbounder wrote:A reitteration ofMod: Vote Count?

Anyway. I still think we would be amiss to ignore Zarvok as possible scum. Yellowbounder is as good a lynch as any, I suppose.
I just wish that we could contrive some way to validate the night actions of all those who claimed... but I suppose insinuating that we should direct night choices is "scummy."

Since I am now one vote from lynch, I may as well make my death speech. Or something along those lines.
I agree with the people who say that you should keep an eye on Glork, since he could quite easily be scum, hiding under a neutral pretext. However, he has made some very good arguments, and is a constructive player.
Sticking to my earlier arguments, look for the cause of death due to mafia killings, as this might be important in verifing some of the flavour of a role claim, and thus the claim itself.
And is it just me, or has Mach Mafia been on my case as soon as he entered the game.
Oh yeah, and:
My claim is the townie. Vanilla. That's that.

Being lynched perhaps is a motivation!?!In Day 1 there was a niggling suspicion about Amb, since I was slightly suspicious of why a Doc would claim on Day 1. I'm not sure about anyone at the moment no.
Other than that - the only comment I can gain reading Yellowbounders posts is that they feel very vanilla - almost a cheeseburger without cheese feel. It's probably worth hammering him to keep the game moving.
For the record I protected Stalling Champ.

My logic was, that even if you were not lynched thanks to your claim, the mafia would kill a claimed doc during the night. So, it's a lose lose situation you claiming.
Well that's what I thought.
And I thought a Big Mac without the middle bun would be a better comparison. I like Quarter Pounders
