Sorry peeps, I am back. Life spewed up some rubbish, but i can dedicate more time now to this.
I still think Krad isn't our option today. I'm still worride about Ryan and SM. Seeing as not much has happened I don't think I have much more to say really, other than ask how Hacker got on Pming Iammars.

So I guess the question is whether we can actually get a majority of people to vote for someone - since that is the only way to get a lynch.
angelmouse, I would not be fundamentally opposed to lynching either of the two people you mention (I assume you meant

Oh man, I totally forgot I had a game going..I haven't even logged in in a couple of weeks I feel like. Whoops!! I'm getting kind of burned out with mafia, but I will do better from here out to keep on top of this game, which is probably my last for a little while.
Anyway, I read everything since the last time I posted and it is really strange about the stall on KradDrol..I thought it would have been resolved by now one way or the other. So, I am going to
I keep saying this, but I promise I will re-read through everything and see if I can see anything. I will, 100%, have it posted by noon (PST) tomorrow with actual opinions. Maybe my taking a little break from the game will give some fresh perspective.

An alternative explanation is that KradDrol is mafia and his mafiabuddies don't want him lynched...SeraphicMirth wrote:Anyway, I read everything since the last time I posted and it is really strange about the stall on KradDrol..I thought it would have been resolved by now one way or the other. ah, ok, I'm still not feeling awesome about what I'm reading as far as concrete suspicions go.
But, when I went back through right now what's sticking out to me is Medicated Lain/Hacker Huck. Both Medicated and Hacker did quite a bit of contradictory thinking and sitting on the fence throughout this game.
Medicated Lain's actions:
Vote Skitzer (random vote)
FOS Peers
Vote Peers 1 day later
Unvote Peers 2 days later and starts a small suspicion going on liamcool
Says there is a stand down between edion and peers and that she doesn't understand the case on edion (...therefore, saying that peers is more suspicious between the two)
votes peers again
next day, still going after liamcool.
unvotes peers, votes liam (this was after Peers' psychiatrist claim, so this one is understandable, I suppose, even though she says in the post that "Peers' play still seems... the most suspicious.")
She then says:
> the case stands that Peers could be a therapist type role, which if there is only one kill tomorrow, would set in stone to me that Peers is scum instead of his roleclaim, since it's so easily proven, <
Which is kind of weak because it's NOT that easily proven, he'd have to hit the SK that very night.
Then votes Liamcool before she leaves the game for good.
HackerHuck comes in, his actions:
Unvotes- perfectly acceptable when you replace in.
Post #2 in Hacker-only view is a little confusing to me. You make a case against Zeek, vote Zeek, but have this line: >But it's not Zeek's fault that skitzer got lynched. < What did you mean by that? Clarification would be great.
Next few posts are pushing the case on Zeek, and while I feel like I shouldn't put much stock in that, since Zeek started acting terribly towards the end (claiming a bomber and such) and I thought he was scum, I do put some stock in it because I can also see scum monopolizing on the fact that they know Zeek is not mafia and Zeek is making these mistakes to exploit.
Next game day he goes after KradDrol, votes him.
Unvotes KradDrol 1 day later. In the midst of this, he states that a no-lynch would be a terrible idea.
Re-votes KradDrol.
Unvotes KradDrol a few days later.
During this final unvote, he starts pushing a no-lynch. Now, the posts around his post show that a couple people brought up the term "no-lynch". I feel like he, as scum, got a vibe that maybe he could get people swayed to a no-lynch. At this point, a no-lynch will only help the scum (unless liamcool could use his power tonight, which we won't know). Hacker will try to say that "well we don't want to lynch the SK because then we may tie with the mafia and lose", but I really don't think that accidentally lynching the SK has that much of a chance of happening.
One, if Peers is really who he says he is, then the SK could claim (if possible) at lynch. Two, the SK could have worked things out on their own and if it came that close to a lynch they could say "hey, you're going to let the mafia win". Three, there are more mafia than SK and so we have a better chance of lynching mafia.
I think the benefits of a lynch outweigh the (supposed) benefits of a no-lynch. I think calling for a no-lynch when it's not being used to make beneficial endgame numbers is scummy.
Moving on, the rest of Hacker's posts are him pushing for a No-Lynch but also keeping that suspicion out on KradDrol. I think he's looking to keep his options open. Once the no-lynch thing doesn't fly, he can go back into the KradDrol, if that's still going.
Then towards the end of his posts, it's unclear where he stands. Lynch or no-lynch? Who's scummy, who's not? It's all clouded. If you had such great logic for the no-lynch, why aren't you sticking to it? If you were so opposed to it earlier in the day, why didn't you stick to that? Just because we might lynch the SK who could claim it if it got that close? hmmf.
So, I

I think I've been quite consistent with my preference for a no-lynch and I still stand behind my reasoning for it. In fact, my last game related post - not the ones discussing Iammars' disappearance - mentioned that I'm still happy with a no-lynch (also my current vote). I've also mentioned that I'm not stubborn and would be willing to vote for someone I find scummy, but only if I'm pretty sure that they're not the SK. Kraddrol's claim makes me pretty certain that he's not the SK, but he has somewhat redeemed himself as of late and I'm not sure what to make of his wagon. Unfortunately, the other possible scum names that I've been looking at are all exhibiting the same tells as SKs.
Changing ones mind isn't considered scummy and if you think about, my whole concern about not lynching the SK is not in my own best interests. If you recall, I'm the only person that Peers has cleared from being the SK.

Hmm. I forgot about that.Peers wrote:And yes, Huck, I cleared you from being the SK. Doesn't mean you aren't scum. And you sure act like it.
So...if we want to lynch someone who we think is scum, but who can't possibly be the SK, HackerHuck is as good a candidate as any...

Ctrl, Alt, Delete
The three of you, eldarad, Medicated Lain, and ryanjunk, are Ctrl, Alt and Delete, respectively. The three of you get called in whenever something goes wrong. Firefox froze? Ctrl-Alt-Delete! Word acting real slow? Ctrl-Alt-Delete! Badger dancing on top of the monitor? Ctrl-Alt-Delete! Thusly, because you have been called in to fix the problems so many times, you have become associated with the problems themselves. Some people have gone so far as to call you a weird group of masochists who cause problems on computers in order to be pressed. Well, if those people think that you’ve been causing problems, they haven’t seen nothing yet.
The three of you are a mafia group. There is no godfather, you all consider yourselves equal to each other, you damn commies. Every night, you can Ctrl-Alt-Delete a player. Assuming nothing else happens, that player will no longer be able to function and be forced to be removed from the game. Also, each one of you has a one-shot ability. Once during the game, if you are not performing the kill, you may send me the name of a key on the keyboard, and I will tell you whether or not that key is in the game. You win when anyone not in your mafia group is dead.
The thread is here. Any post in the thread shall be considered confirmation of your role. Please make sure you read your role PM and all the rules. Feel free to PM me with any questions.

So, as is somewhat usual for me, I ended up being a bit lurk-ish as mafia. This wasn't helped by the fact that I had some actual busy Real Life periods in there which forced me to lurk even more. But I think we ended up in a pretty strong spot by this point, despite having our night-kills blocked twice.

I had you, Eldarad and SM as scum so 2 out of 3 aint bad so I'm chuffed. You did lurk so it made me very wary of you. I suspected eldarad for the pushing on Krad, but i knew if i mentioned it it would have all turned on so i kept quiet. I was going to kill him tonight though since i was
Interestingly ryan attempted to kill ryanjunk on N0, but was prevented by liam so it may have made the game very different to have a scum dead before the game even kicks off.
Anyway I am gutted i couldn't take this further as a SK, was the first time i was even one
Good game all!
I felt since replacing i kept it quiet. Ryan didn't make it easy, but I think it was ok. I thought i would at least have another kill tonight. You know that Iammars likes to do a lot of HTML coding, and that he uses you a lot for that coding. You also know that you’re in love with your counterpart: <. However, you hate that fact that you’re never right next to your lover. True, if two tags are used next to each other, you’re placed right next to each other, but then you’re placed back-to-back. You never get to face your lover. You decided that if you get rid of the other keys, Iammars will be forced to finally put the two of you together facing each other.
You are a serial killer. Every night, you may choose a key to eliminate off the keyboard by inserting yourself in HTML code around where that key is usually used, confusing it so much that it’ll blow off the keyboard. If a doctor protects the key, this kill will bypass that. However, if you are prevented from performing your action or you can’t find your target, then your kill won’t go through. You win when everyone else is dead.

hmmf. my running scumlist today was Peers, HackerHuck (Medicated), and Eldarad. I didn't have as much of a case on eldarad and was going to try to test him out by jailkeeping him at night. I left Peers cuz I thought he'd be proven one way or another at some point...but I was wrong on him obviously. I was least sure on HackerHuck, but chose to make the case on him. I guess I should trust myself more lol
I was the ESC key, jailkeeper (town), sending things to the void. However, if liamcool's power is really what he said it was, it made it difficult to use my power to figure out anything.

Just cuz reading role PMs are fun
Esc
Once, you were the tool of millions of computer users. Once, you were above all those other keys. Shift, F1, Tab, these keys had no effect on what you did. No matter what was open, no matter what process was running, you would close it and make it disappear. Those were the days, when no one cared about where you put the programs, only that they disappeared. It was like magic. This was fine for the normal person, but the scientists wanted to know where the programs were going. Thus your two-year hiatus from American keyboards. American scientists collected all the Esc keys from all keyboards and took them to Guantanamo Bay for scientific testing and alternative interrogation methods. Eventually the scientists learned about the Void, where you put all your programs. The scientists were considering calling you a terrorist and exterminating you, but they decided that there would be mass public backlash if they decided to do that, so they decided to return you to keyboards and quietly phase you out of power while using the Void for their own purposes, hiding such things as secret papers, Guantanamo detainees, the copy of the Nixon tape that didn’t have the 18 min. erased, and Osama Bin Laden. They never did succeed in eliminating you completely though, and although you don’t have all the power you had before, you still can send stuff to the Void.
You are a jailkeeper. Anyone you send into the Void will be protected from all kills that night, but they will also be roleblocked. You may only send one person into the Void per night. You win when all the evil keys are dead.
