An easy solution to this is to have a rule preventing prod dodges from resetting the prod meter. A game being geriatric should be no excuse to go two/three days without posting. Quite the opposite, in fact; you only have ten posts per day so if you don't use them, you lose them. Geriatric games don't need to require you to post literally every day, but they do require you to actually post at a reasonable rate.

This has ALWAYS been the case even back in the day. If you didn't post every day, that was okay. But if you made it a habit to basically semi-intentionally only post as infrequently as you could get away with...no shit you weren't gonna do well. This was true back then, and is still true now in every game, even geriatric ones. You need to post to win. Geriatric games just afford a more "reasonable" posting rate.

Geriatric games just address one of the excuses of prod-dodgers ("There's so many new pages, I can't keep up") and eliminates it.

MagnaofIllusion has been added to the player list in OP.

FYI Team Mafia games seem to be wrapping up soon, and my game will finally be starting sign-ups when they do, so keep your eyes peeled.

Can someone send me a PM, when a new Geriatric goes into sighnups?
I mean I am not the typical Geriatric Player, but I like the oportunity to play with some of the players and think I could slow my postingfrequency down.

Well, the overall problem is that pushing for policy lynches is viewed as a scummy move. Policy lynches tend to always be on town because mafia know who is who and can push policy lynches to achieve their win condition without raising suspicion.

To fix this there needs to be an out of game punishment. If someone is town and they prod-dodge and lurk all game then they should be considered to be "not playing towards their win condition" and get some sort of meta punishment if it's continuous.
issue is that lurking as scum is absolutely playing to your wincon

Well yeah. I was thinking more after the game where fellow players (and even the mod) can say "Hey, this town player lurked all game and hurt his win condition" and list mods punish off that.
