I think it’s likely scum has some method of mitigating hp damage because that’s the most obvious route to breaking via massclaim, so I wouldn’t lay those cards on the table. With that said, there are only a few people I’d think of as truly bad shots here. LLD, me, bell, sigmund math is pretty much the list of attacking this is an outright scum claim tonight.

It kinds of feels like there's a low amount of shots going around, lower than expected

I think most people are more sure about townreads than scum reads and scum are worried about being outed by shooting someone towny and potentially grouped to make a kill more certain.

I think the mod isn't notifying or people are not claiming unless necessary.

I think if math is scum the noise about shooting math means it’s inarguably better to eliminate there instead of attacking. If math doesn’t die today it’s because we want an additional result, and denying that information by resolving the slot over night is inherently anti town.

That sounds ridiculous and known to be very likely not true given ffery/cabd knew I toodk SP from them

I'm also inching back to sr Titus. The signals that I think I'm getting doesnt make sense with whats going on in the thread

NDMath's claim doesn't make much sense to me for mostly the reasons bingle just outlined and less the reasons of "I don't have SP" which seems like a really weird thing to fake.

It's more how the "not having SP" interacts with the rest of claim that is giving me "one of these things is not like the others" vibes.

I think not having SP doesn't make sense given what we know: Bingle confirmed SP w/o having SP abilities which would mean to me everyone has SP given that the mod said everyone starts with 2 SP.

Besides that, scum watcher is certainly possible + could decide to target LLD for info. I'd like to hear math's reasoning for targeting LLD as well.

They could have SP abilities that are clearly scum-aligned, and incorrectly thought that claiming no SP abilities would mean having no SP.

I don't have a scumread as confident as NDMath. It's less optimal to shoot someone who might be limmed anyway, but it's better than shooting town. It's a suboptimal play I would be willing to take.

If Math doesn't die today, it's likely because scum protected them.

I find it more likely that ndmath was told he *currently* has no sp (because he spent them or they were drained) but is able to generate more, and this exhange has been misinterpreted by either or both parts

I have my own issues with ndmath, but i don't understand the pushes based on the potential lie about sp mechanics. It seems a pointless lie to come up with as scum.

I don't know how drain mechanics work or how much stuff could be drained, but if he spent them he is also a liar and should be thrown out a window.

That explaination for NDMath is unlikely. NDMath claimed they had no SP ever. If NDMath did have SP, spent it, and failed to regenerate it, they could have confirmed my claim as written in the rules. Furthermore, they claimed no abilities with SP so they could never have spent SP in the first place unless they were lying scum.
