Sure. When a coalition fails, there must be scum inside the group. In this case,
themilkcartonkid, Skygazer, RadiantCowbells, Creature, NanceFloor, Ankamius (now you), Chemist1422, Clemency
has at least 1 scum.
If we coalition the left overs, then we either win or we know there is at least 1 scum in there.
There are three scum alive.
Therefore, mathematically there can only be 3:0, 2:1 or 1:2 as possibilities.
Coalitioning the leftovers means eliminating 3-0 in most likely scenarios. If it is 3-0 we just win.
In order to coalition the leftovers, we need two dead from the original coalition.
That means the veto needs to consist of four slots from the original coalition.

I think, anyone who has Maria in veto is being antitown and gamethrowing, so I’d look there first.

I apologize for the way I expressed myself but I still nevertheless stand by the basic sentiment. You had some brilliant ideas - combine consensus tr with weak town coalition members but you wanting to veto me and RC was terrible antitown play. Sorry if that upsets you.

I think PB isn’t scum and should not be in veto. Yet another reason why Maria is obvtown. I know that PB misconstrued this as me waffling but my point was not to hedge on him but rather to stress the point that Moon and PB are never SvS because Ank’s interactions with both Moon and Mbaki were anti-partnery.
I find Moon’s recent dumbtell about repicker unconvincing since it’s on page 1 of this setup and he has been in this game long enough to have read the setup. I do however believe PB’s dumbtell because I think that’s not easily fakable. It read genuine to me. Plus, he sounds good tonally.
Wrt to Creature, him tr Moon and vetoing Maria pings me a bit. I’m also suspicious of him thinking my slot could possibly be scum here. He’s played enough games with me to realize I’m obvtown here. Still I would rather exclude him from 2nd coalition than veto him because his point about scum killing the strongest members of the coalition over the weak still holds.

If he’s distancing anyone here, it’s not Maria. He wants her dead, so she can’t be in 2nd coalition. There is absolutely no protown reason to veto Maria.

I'd rather base my veto off the dance pairings than put 2 town from the coalition up for the kill just to waste our repick on having another coalition fail. That's me though, you were all going to do what you wanted anyway.

Also, I'm not going to read the last 7 pages or whatever beyond skimming nor do I intend on spamming the thread anymore than I have to responding to anything
in regards to PB I still town read the slot I just thought his reads are bad ( so i apologize if I said anything hurtful that was not my intention beyond some sass )
the blind confidence with which he pushed is also +town imo albeit frustratingly
