(Which btw is fitting given the game lore. The lore is basically that the places you're traveling to used to be WONDERFUL places to be...but the corruption of Skorne's minions twisted them to be basically mockeries, shadows, of what they once were. Each realm used to be 'good', and yet all the levels are most decisively 'evil', not because they always were, but because they were corrupted to be that way, and the tragedy of this is visible. There's signs throughout the levels of the damage Skorne's minions have done in conquering, in taking over, the realms.)

(So in the case of the sky realm...it was quite literally the realm of dreams, the realm of what was possible, the realm of exploration and adventure and so on and so forth, such a heroic place...utterly ruined by the darkness twisting it.)

(Back to the lore btw: obviously, the Forest Realm didn't originally have 'twisted' roots of 'evil', but it DID have roots...which, when exposed to the corrupting evil, became twisted, thus the name. )

(And btw one thing I love about these tracks? They build off of one another. There's a story to be had. The repetition in songs you can tell is intentional callbacks to the prior tunes, referencing them, but with a new spin because it's a new song. The songs IN OF THEMSELVES contain a narrative to them and are best listened to in order.)
