i had a dream that we lynched luna and she flipped scum. thankfully i don't put much stock in any latent clairvoyant abilities i might have.

i really think that i am at the last scum being in {eddie, SS, penguin}, and i'm not sure how much my mind is going to be changed at this point.

SS targeting me instead of anyone else?

Auro being killed?

Penguin not targeting anyone with fruit night 3?

A more interesting musing is that I'm being put with SS and Penguin, the two people who are not game solving and are blindly pushing me.

that's something that i've noticed and turned over in my head a little bit. assuming you're scum, what would your partner be doing at this stage?

one possible interpretation is that one of them knows that you're flipping scum and thus doesn't face any fear that an uninformed townie would have that comical was lying and we'll go into lylo tomorrow. hence, they just want to get on with lynching you.

of course, another equally valid interpretation is that they simply both consider the possibility of comical fakeclaiming so low as to not be worth considering, which i think is valid. even still, even if i were to know that you were flipping scum i still think today might be a good day to talk things over, considering that one of us will die after lynching you.

I have spent far more hours of my life solving today despite it most likely ending with my lynch, and I only really care about town. Another puzzler. And I think the notion I'm with half of those people is laughable.

Do you remember that game you modded where I hard carried late game? That is what I am trying to do here to compensate for Boon.

As I said before, I hate people who fake guilties or innos or whatever as town and dont retract them before they die. Regardless of whether they were correct or not.
Thinking that someone's fake claiming just gives scum room to avoid guilties.

Regardless of whether EC is town or scum, he's in the same position and needs to ensure that either he doesnt get lynched or his partner wins, and I think that his reaction to NSG saying SS was the most likely partner some pages ago was aimed specifically at that.

Which makes me think that he's trying to get SS lynched and use that as an argument to survive or if he gets lynched SS can use that as an argument so he doesnt get lynched.

Because we want to find EC's partner? Well we wont do it by asking EC anyway, we can't trust anything scum says. Although I think his reaction to thinking of an SS/EC team is telling and if that's the team then they're currently cross busing anyway.

i agree with you that eddie cane is basically always the lynch today

if i had some spectacular solve or mechanical play that made it so lynching, say, SS first was better then that's what i'd go for but i don't really have that at the moment and i don't think that i will.

Oh well i guess thinking at 3 am isnt going to help.

I don't exactly trust Luna either but between a maybe gulity, PP and SS we don't have the lynches to burn.

I kinda just want to flip PP and an SS/PP solve would satisfy my original thought that this was going to be a 6/4 town split. or a Luna/PP.

Assuming scum isn't in Alch/NSG then Eddie has voted all town (sans the vote on himself). I think he's basically arguing that he's been playing slayers gambit and the problem with that id you are going to look bad doing it. Also, no one should be doing a gambit if they aren't prepared to eat flak.
