The concept of a read that erodes with time doesn't really make sense to me... I feel like it hides a deeper reason. If the reason is just that everyone else has done towny things, that's fine. But I worry that it's just you attributing less strength to your past reasons because you can't remember them anymore.
do you think i should be townreading you now?
Given that you were townreading me before, yes. I don't think that read should have dissipated the way it did.
idk how to explain it. sometimes lower-tier reads just kinda wither away if they're not maintained. the fact that i can't remember why i was townreading you is kinda part of that, yes. and yeah the fact that i have too many townreads is part of that too, that kinda dictates who the 'lower tier' reads are and since literally everyone here can't be town, i gotta reamine the lower ones more closely
i also meant more: given what you've done thus far this game, do you think i should be townreading you at this juncture?

Mostly I'm holding out a little hope Ceph was wrong so I don't have to hear him telling me to suck it in our hydra discord.
I don't even think it takes a cohort decoder ring to figure that out, though.

Read on Dunn?

Anything stand out to you about that slot?
Dunn was town, I believe. A Town Lean, actually.

Say, wasn't it you who instructed Annie to "drop it" when she asked Dunn to claim his night action? Or am I mixing the hydrae?
It was indeed me. Why?
Because the Town Lean was formed at that point.

P: ummm idk. Id agree to no thread-swapping, but Im not so sure its in the spirit of the game. We might have some kind of hidden mechanic, and most likely scum can somehow influence the swaps or even make their own somehow.

Flavor is honestly best dealt with by assuming they are town to begin with and then subtracting points for the things they do.

That's literally all Pisskop has done. We have "eliminated" scum in the forwards thread by turnstyling and eliminating. Two turnstyles means two opportunities to save scum from the elimination. We turnstyled Pooky and pisskop. Pooky's tried and got suspicion. Pisskop's been a bowl of lurky shit. His response to a prod is a prodge. That's inexcusable. Lim him.

Looking at Pisskop's posts, there's a major hint as to his partner. It's Brian Skies. He alludes to scum having a turnstyle mechanic because he already knows they have it.

Brian's role acts like a scum get out of jail free card. It can also act to disrupt another thread.

So I am strongly at Pisskop BS and Pooky all aligned.

The house of cards rests with Pisskop being scum. Flip him before Pooky.

We'll flip BS here first if I have a say.

VOTE: Brian Skies

Maybe? I don't know exactly how your brain works wrt reading me. I think if not for PYP, you probably would have been. It's hard to tell if you would correct for PYP accurately (by no longer townreading things that aren't really towny) or inaccurately (by no longer townreading things that are towny overall but that I happened to do that game, or that I did differently and you failed to notice the difference).

lol that case on brian

i mean yes if pisskop isnt going to be removed we have to policy him at some point but im not sure hes the best kill today (its pooky). like if pisskop flips red thats a nice happy bonus but we wind up in the same place either way really
Deacon Blues wrote:also, Brian's scumreading pisskop and seems to be suggesting we elim him before pooky?

I said it was your earlier posts BEFORE you claimed. I missed the claim. I had no idea you claimed later on. I had a TR on you when I stopped reading this thread. HOWEVER, your claim was believable to me (I really can't tell if the claim strengthened the TR or if the TR was the reason I believed the claim)

Tammy thought Brian's day 1 pooky fixation and defense was odd. She also noted that brian didn't take a strong stance about pooky being turnstiled, and then afterwards said something about not using his turnstile day 1 if he'd known pooky would be the turnstile-ee.

Nacho wanted brian pressed to explain his pooky read.
