Alright... been a bit busy with work as of late, but tomorrow I will be doing a full read of the last few pages I ended up just skimming and answering the things directed at me.
After that I will (hopefully) be much more involved in this game.

Well guys, I did a little something called a reread. And this is what I've found.
SecretProject, you seem to like calling out chainsaw defenses, and you have said they are indicative of scum. But tell me something. Was I not attacking Ironhead, and then you said he was town and attacked me? Isn't that your beloved chainsaw defense?
Jily, this whole thing about you being an alt is... weird. I honestly don't know what to do about this. Can't we ask an admin to do an IP check or something? Because if jily is new or not is very important. Also, it appears that she remained confused, even after I mentioned that a QT stood for a QuickTopic. Am I reading this right? Thank you very much Soben, I like you (I must be scum, amirite?).
And this all leads to Ironhead, let's look at the relation of the other two mentioned, shall we? SP attacked like hell and then backed off. Jily used an incredibly weak defense. Scumteam links?
And how did the Iron wagon stop anyway? Mastin, you appear and take over, derail the leading wagon, and start a new one with absolutely no evidence. I'm honestly disgusted that everyone is just sheeping you. Except sheeping requires copying reasons, right? There aren't even reasons yet! They're all just calves!
If Mastin provides his reasoning soon, then the FoS on him will likely drop. But I believe there are at least two scum in these four. And all of them have one common link.

Wow safe vote. Lynching alex tomorrow.
Everything is scummy to you, huh? I fail to see why voting someone who scumslipped means I'm scum.
MASTIN I'M STILL WAITING FOR YOU.

I agree that it was odd how Secret Project went from accusing me of being scum to "probtown" without ever demonstrating how he arrived at that conclusion. But I don't think you can accuse him of chainsaw defense for two important reasons: first, accusing him (or anyone) of chainsaw defense implies that the player being defended is scum. Until someone flips scum, that is a problematic conclusion to make. Second, it ignores the fact that you and Secret Project were teaming up to accuse me of scumminess early on as I built a case on Secret Project. If you can characterize Secret Project's current attack on you as chainsaw, then couldn't I do the same to characterize your attack on me when Secret Project and I were going at it?
WormyKrew wrote:Jily, this whole thing about you being an alt is... weird. I honestly don't know what to do about this. Can't we ask an admin to do an IP check or something?
I think doing an IP check is way out of bounds, and an absurd request to make to site admins. You ought to be able to find scum using your wits; suggesting we ask to do an IP check is bizarre and does not seem townish to me.
WormyKrew wrote:And this all leads to Ironhead
I disagree with this conclusion. Based on the issues I mentioned above, I think your argument requires a little more work. I also suspect that you have drawn the conclusion first ("Ironhead must be scum!") and then fit the argument to match your conclusion. You are declaring that you have re-read the thread, and after re-examining the evidence have concluded that
the same person
is scum whom you have been accusing since the game started; I am unconvinced that you did a re-read with an open mind. Use the re-read as an opportunity to re-question your assumptions, find new arguments, and construct a stronger argument against someone being scum.
Having said all that, I will note that your post is far from being the scummiest on this page. That dubious honor goes to:

This is a shameless Appeal to Ridicule. We have had this discussion before -- an Appeal to Ridicule is an Appeal to Emotion. And there is nothing else in this post except AtE -- no additional argumentation of any kind. Why did mastin2 respond to WormyKrew's argument with an Appeal to Emotion?
Mastin2, please respond in your next post with exactly what you find so humorous about WormyKrew's post.

Because you went: "OMG SCUMSLIP!"
And I asked: "WAT? HOW?"
And you said: "LOL I DUNNO, FIGURE IT OUT! LYYYYYYNCH!"
That's a verbatim transcript, btw. I'm tempted, honestly, to vote wierdalex for his poor pushing of a mislynch, but I know that cries of "OMGUS!@" will come shortly after. Eh, screw it, his case is weak.

MOD! (and players who have an opinion on the matter)
I will be on vacation from the 12th to the 19th with limited to no internet access. If you need/want me to replace out, I will, but I would like to stay in this game if at all possible. What say ye?

First off--apologies for my last post. It was made at 2 AM and I was highly incoherent. (Had I been coherent, though, I might have done worse. Imagine if I MASHED my head on my keyboard.
)
Still, though, point remains. There is literally nothing town in that post by WormyKrew. In my highly incoherent state, I expressed this with literal laughter at just how horrible of a post it was.
The post bleeds off scumminess, and I was laughing because of it. Don't believe me? Well, I'll explain in my case. Which I'll begin working on today. Won't finish today (I warned you of this before), but I will work on it.
In the mean time, my priority is focusing on the scumslips of WormyKrew and DarthYoshi. Same basic slip, though Yoshi's is far less severe and is extremely weak in comparison.
Elsa wrote:I will be on vacation from the 12th to the 19th with limited to no internet access. If you need/want me to replace out, I will, but I would like to stay in this game if at all possible. What say ye?
Honestly? If you were someone like me who pretty much posts every day and tries to give content constantly in said posts, I wouldn't mind that much.
...But so far, you haven't demonstrated that. So far, you've demonstrated only an occasional post, barely prododging, and the content in the posts isn't very much.
Presumably, this is due to being busy in RL. It happens; I know it more than anyone else, right now.
But if you're going to be busy for an even LONGER period of time, where you won't be able to contribute much if anything at all?
My take would be that it'd be better to replace out. I know, asking sucks, and I never want to be in the situation where I have to ask to be replaced again, but sometimes, it's for the better of the game.
Just my take on things.

If there's anyway an IP check could be done, I'd like it to happen, since I don't want there to be any questions about my IP. I live with two younger siblings that couldn't possibly play MS, two parents who are way too busy, and two grandparents, so there's no way there could even be an implication that I'm an alt, if an IP check is done.
Well, Elsa, with promises to come back, my take on it would be to keep you.

Brokenscraps replaces Monk effective immediately. Additionally, I'm allowing Elsa to keep her spot, but also pushing the deadline back 4 days due to the number of replacements and the V/LA. This will effectively turn her 7 day vacation into a 3 day, which I believe to be more reasonable.
@Jil, I have no way of testing your IP.

Sorry, I still haven't been posting much stuff lately (had exams), but t's now the weekend, and I should be able to post more. I alo apologize for my terrible playing, I'm still used to newbie games.
I don't really like Elsa's OMGUS. It sounds like scum trying to turn the tables.
So far, that's the only major thing seting off my scumdar.

Captain Corporal, I may be wrong, but I must say, it's like you're quite careful, not to push anything to hard on anyone. It's like incase you mislynch or something, you won't have heat on you, because you didn't push that hard.
It's kinda like you're fence sitting, you don't push too hard for anything.

Make lynch happen during this time. Night phase goes on. First couple days of D2 happen then you're back. I think we're good.

Why should I push hard when there's nothing to push for? I think I'm the judge on who I think is scummy or not.

Town, easily. There's SO much less pressure on me, and therefore much less lurking (such is usually my awful scum playstyle). In all, it makes for a more active/fun game for me.
Reading through Elsa's ISO, and I noticed this. I believe it is pretty self-explanatory. Elsa has been lurking majorly, although she says that it is not her playstyle as Town, but rather as Scum.
Elsa von Spielburg wrote:Scumhunter wrote:Town reads (from strongest to weakest): jilynne1991, ironhead, secret project, darth yoshi, captain corporal (much of this is based on my read on gerhard), mastin2
Very Slightly leaning town/null: weirdalexv, Monk
Very Slightly leaning scum/null: Aldusskel, TheWayitEnds
Scum reads (from strongest to weakest): WormyKrew, ElsaVonSpielburg (lurking is a scumtell from her imo)
You've had one game with me. Where I was town. Not a whole lot to go off of using a meta argument. Also, graduating this week, remember?
Despite that, I agree that you're giving a town vibe in your initial set of posts.
She then goes on to disagree with Scumhunter's case on her, saying meta is a bad argument, when she said it herself. Lurking is her scum playstyle.
I also don't like her OMGUS.
By the way.
VOTE: Elsa.
2. JILYNNE
I am reading through your ISO right now, Jily, and there is basically NO scumhunting. Just gut feelings, gut feelings, and more gut feelings. Moreover, you seem VEEERRRY careful about what you do and who you accuse. You accuse me of fence-sitting, but you seem to be sitting on the fence even more so (this is what fence-sitting is, right)? You also sneakily hint that you are a PR and we should not be lynching you. Right now, I'm not sure if that's good with me. Sounds like scum trying to get out of a hole.
Alright, I gotta go for the day, sorry I didn't have time to get all my reads up. Will get the others soon.
