The game is based on the Tom Baker serial of the same name (we're talking Doctor Who for those not in the know). The game shouldn't require anything in terms of knowledge of the flavour that a little research can't fix (and Doctor Who is well-documented); you should still watch the serial of course as it's awesome.

It might have to do something with the fact nobody really knows what game this is.

Right. Micro 29. Semi-Open set-up. Features 3 vanilla townies, 1 nurse, and 1 deputy. The semi-openess comes from the last two roles, Cop and Doctor. One faction (mafia and town) will draw the Doctor, the other will draw the Cop. Only the town-sided back-up role will work. (So if the mafia Cop gets killed the town won't suddenly gain a cop in addition to the doctor) With a maximum of three day phases the back-up role really only provides a 2nd chance rather than an extra use of the power. But most of the game should be focused on dayplay, and we've got a pretty good playerlist going right now.

Unfortunately I've got about 24 hours till the game is pulled from the queue, so if anyone is interested on this, now's the time.
