Vote: Fritzler
. I tire of your twisted web of deceit. I find it highly unlikely that you retained your ability to block once recruited by the cult, and I suspect that you are in fact our last killing faction, be that through traitorhood or vengeance of your cult leader or whatever. I also find it VERY convenient that the death of Maz prevented Clara from joining your "cult," seeing as how even when you were BLOCKED Night 1 YOUR "block" went through.Die, cult/scum/whatever the heck you are that's preventing Clara and I from winning.

All I know is that I didn't get recruited last night and that I totally don't understand Lostprophet's logic.

You lynch lostprohpet. Since Claramata can't lynch Fritz, Fritz can't kill Clara but has infinite chances to recruit her, they, along with Mikehart, Logicticus, and Maz Medias, win.

You are The Squeakers 92, AKA Stevie, local chat room asshole. You are sick and tired of everyone making fun of you and ignoring you in chat, so you have decided to take the town down using your pimp skills. Each night, you may hack someone’s account, which will force everyone to ignore that person. You had the great Idea of pretending to be the first victim, so luckily they think you are innocent at this point. However, you must post in all caps, since that is your personality. You win when ScumChat is destroyed (Moderator’s Note: The traditional Stevie role in ScumChat is a townie that must post in all caps, must relentlessly bandwagon, and turns up guilty to investigations.)
Lostprophet
You are Leechboy, AKA Coron. You are a powerless townsperson, who happens to sympathize with the guy trying to bring down ScumChat. They all get on your nerves and make fun of you, so you decided to help this guy who is attacking ScumChat. Last night you hacked the attacker, and found out he was The Squeakers 92 (petroleumjelly). You win when ScumChat is destroyed.
[MOD NOTE: BECOMES HACKER IF STEVIE DIES]
logicticus
You are Schrademan, conservative and modding great. However, since you are pretty firmly anti-liberal, and the chat is liberal, this has pissed you off. However, since you are so smart, each night you may convince someone to turn conservative. You win when the majority of the chat is conservative. Also, you may talk to Catdarquiel (rajhcpfreak) and Conservatives at night.
mikehart
You are Anixer/The Anix Theory. Since you are the creator of UPick, (Cues Song: You can pick your targets, you can pick your foes! But only in
UPick can you pick your roles!) each night you may PM me a character name. I will PM you back a role based on that character. You become that role until the following night, and do any actions that night.
rajrhcpfreak
You are Catdarquiel. You are going out with Schrademan (logicticus), so you may talk with him at night. Also, once each night you may go and seduce one man. This prevents them from doing anything else for the night. You win when ScumChat is safe. [MODERATOR’S NOTE: CANNOT BLOCK STEVIET92 (petroleumjelly) OR LEECHBOY (Lostprophet) ALSO IS CONSERVATIVE]
Fritzler
You are MageofSpades. You never want to play mafia, so each night, you may convince them of your beliefs, which will stop them from doing anything else that night. You win with the town.
Claramata
You are PieIsGoodScum. You are a normal guy who is really, really good during the endgame of mafia. You can talk to Rajrhcpfreak (Bacde) at night. You win with the town.
[MODERATOR’S NOTE: SPECIAL ABILITY: EVIL NEED A MAJORITY TO FINISH THE GAME (As opposed to 50%) AND IF TWO PEOPLE GET EQUAL AMOUNT OF VOTES WHEN THERE ARE 50% SCUM, THE SCUM, IF ANY, WILL DIE]
Bacde
You are Rajrhcpfreak. You’re a fairly normal guy, except you’re pretty smart. Once during the game, you may attempt to hack someone’s AIM account. You can talk to PieIsGoodScum (Claramata) at night. You win when ScumChat is safe.
Mastermind of Sin
You are Fritzler. There is nothing special about you, besides the fact that you are fairly good at mafia. This means that twice during the game, you can try and read into someone’s posting, which will let you find out their intentions. (Moderator’s note: This may happen at any time) You win with the town.
[MOD NOTE: INSANE, FRITZLER SUCKS]
Nai
You are BoffayeofBabies. You are a normal guy, all you know is that your friend Inhimshallibe (Beaker) is innocent. You may not talk to him at night. You win with the town.

Maz Medias
You are Hezgotzbeenz. (Moderator’s note: Hezzzzzzzzzwavre). There’s not much special about you, besides the fact that you are well versed in the registration process for AIM. Therefore, once during the game, you may help a player who is gone make a new account, which will bring them back to life. You win when ScumChat is safe.

Holy bananas, Lostprophet was a Traitor?! I never even considered that possibility (at least while the game was still running, as it really only seriously crossed my mind
after
the game continued even after I was lynched, but I thought he would be more of a back-up Serial Killer [which I guess he was] than a traitor). My whole goal was to carry LP with me, who I was counting on to be my faithful servant townie, through the whole game and hope he would keep arguing with me against the cult.I'll have to reread this game knowing everybody's roles now, it should spread a bit more light as to everybody's strategies. And oh, how I wish Raj would have tried to role-block me N2 now that I see that he could not have: that would have been awesome! Of course with Logicticus talking to Raj, I'm sure he had him role-block somebody else since he knew he would be trying to convert me to Conservatism. *shakes fist*
And "bah!" to Maz Medias: you won after declaring cult because there was no other way Claramata could have won the game. =P She made the right choice, technically, so I cannot fault her.
All in all, though, now that I see that I could not have been role-blocked by Raj and that MastermindofSin was insane, and that I unwittingly had a traitor to defend me, I think the Serial Killer had a perfectly good chance at winning. My fault was not hitting the cult as hard as I should have, although I was certainly trying to.
Ah, and Maz Medias pretty much screwed me two ways. =P First he resurrected Fritzler, which was not a happy day for me, and then he became recruited.
Ah, and night-choices, although obvious:
Night 1: Kill MastermindofSin
Night 2: Kill Mikehart
Night 3: Kill Rajrhcpfreak
Night 4: Kill Bacde
Night 5: Kill Fritzler (role-blocked)
I'm guessing the recruitments of Logicticus were:
Night 1: Recruit Mikehart
Night 2: Recruit PetroleumJelly [failed]
Night 3: Recruit Maz Medias
Night 4: Recruit Fritzler
Night 5: Recruit Lostprophet [failed]
Night 6: Recruit Claramata [failed?]
Night 4 was probably the turning point in the game. At that point, I knew Fritzler was not a part of the Cult, but since he was 100% cleared I was so
positive
that he would recruited that I actually doubted
he would be recruited. My reasoning for that was the fact that Rajrhcpfreak was also about 95% cleared on D2 but was not recruited Night 3
I figured that the cult was recruiting the uncleared persons and leaving me to kill the cleared persons. That was my reason for leaving Fritzler alive Night 4, and of course it turned out the reason Logicticus didn't convert Raj was because he didn't have
to since he already have a voting bloc with him. Gah! ><Anyhow, since I assumed that, of the seven people alive that two were cult at the time (the leader and Night 3 recruit) I was determined to hit the cult leader, and I had it down to Bacde or Logicticus. Screwed up again by going for Bacde it looks like, but by that same token, I could have lost just as quickly had Bacde took a shot at me during the night, so I'm not sure what to think about that one.
And the rest was history. This was a very fun game, and I don't think I've taken so many notes on one game as this one, as I was desperately trying to search for cult members ever since the death of Mikehart.
Well played all, and thank you for modding, Stevie! Would you mind putting up everybody's nightchoices?

Actually, Claramata's role specifies that:
Claramata, then,
Not gonna complain about the outcome of the game (since I would lose in either situation), but I think this caveat actually gives the win to the town, depending upon the actions of Night 7.Claramata wrote:[MODERATOR’S NOTE: SPECIAL ABILITY: EVIL NEED A MAJORITY TO FINISH THE GAME (As opposed to 50%) AND IF TWO PEOPLE GET EQUAL AMOUNT OF VOTES WHEN THERE ARE 50% SCUM, THE SCUM, IF ANY, WILL DIE]
Claramata, then,
could
technically lynch Fritzler if Fritzler failed to recruit her on Night 7. They would each vote for each other, and since the votes would be on 50% scum, the scum (Fritzler) would die. I assume Stevie already disregarded this, but it's still an interesting note. =P"Logic? I call that flapdoodle."

Yeah, I knew that if you were somehow able to recruit Clara that I'd lose, so I targetted you and hoped for the best. I actually assumed Fritz was going to block me that night; it never occured to me that I was still screwed even if he blocked Clara. PJ's little confession there at the end might've hurt me; if he hadn't come outright with the "I'm an SK" thing, and I'd neglected to kill, then maybe Fritz would have pegged Clara as another member of the Mafia, seeing as how he blocked her and there was no kill. HOWEVER, I'm pretty sure with Maz getting the "recruition confirmed" message, I'd have been dead anyway.
I still can't believe that Nai "forgot" that Beaker was innocent . That was great for PJ and I, as it created not one but TWO mislynches. If only one had been a cultist, too.
Is it common practice for the Cult to continue on after the death of its recruiter? I was very excited after we hit Logic, thinking we pretty much had the game wrapped. Because that whole Maz failing to recruit me thing was not so much good, although we did end up catching him and Fritz in a crazy web of lies. Too bad that PJ and my little concocted ploy there required Clara, the only non-voting member, to believe that she was Mafia (Read: Wasn't going to work). When Fritz and Maz came right on out with "We're both cultists," it was like "Shit."

fritz had a 50% chance of recruiting (as did maz, and anyone else who was not Schrade) Also, I wonder whether clara would actually try to lynch Fritz, thinking it to be moot.petroleumjelly wrote:Actually, Claramata's role specifies that:

Woo hoo, win by default!!
I was shocked after I got lynched when it was 3v3 and I had bread crumbed that pj was scum. I thought it was in the bag, but alas Fritz decided to off me.
So Stevie, why didnt the cult auto win at 3v3? If we block voted like we should have, that should have at least forced a stalemate.

Hmm, I think there are a couple answers to that, Logicticus.
The first is Claramata's role. I'll quote the caveat again:
The other explanation is that there were still two people the cult could not recruit in any way, myself and Lostprophet. Had the day actually gone no-lynch by default, it would be possible for me to kill a cultist, and the cult to fail recruitment, which would leave 2 cult, 1 SK, 1 Back-Up Sk, 1 townie, which is not a cult win, and the outcome is still up in the air. If the cult was successful, of course, it would be 3 cult, 1 SK, 1 Back-Up SK, which is enough to force a lynch and a win, but otherwise it would technically be possible for a SK win, or if you interpret Clara's role strictly, possibly even a Town win.
But who knows? *shrugs*

both
of us would have died. In that case, Maz Medias and Fritzler would still only have 50% recruit shot, while Lostprophet would gain his killing ability, hence making is possible that he could kill a cultist, leaving 1 cult, 1 SK, and 1 townie, as happened in this game, which is by no means a stalemate. The other explanation is that there were still two people the cult could not recruit in any way, myself and Lostprophet. not
when there was still votes that could be changed. The rest of what PJ said was pretty dead on.
