I'm not going to be around at the deadline, though I can be online a couple of hours before. Relative to D1 no-lynch how bad would a no-lynch be today?

I'm reasonably happy with Mala's answers. There's nothing screaming 'wrong' at me about them at least, which is more than I can say for notsciences 'answers'.

My strongest scum read at present is notscience (the slot as a whole has been useless and it's looking more and more like a deliberate attempt to hinder scumhunting as time goes on), but if the 'there was scum on the Rach-wagon' theory is an actual thing then I'm obviously going to assume Ray is scum.

I don't think we particularly need a claim from notscience if he's said he's willing to self-vote. Possible complete nonsense to follow - I've never come across this situation D2 before; I'm a bit wary that self-voting as town at this point might be playing against his wincon (I'm not sure how concrete that stuff is) in that getting himself lynched D2 if he knows he's town makes it massively more difficult for town to win. Town should not be encouraging their own lynching at this point. Rather than offering to self-vote he should and find someone to lynch who (if he's town) he doesn't know is town. I don't know if that's a valid point, but I thought I'd throw it out there for people to have a look at - his offer to self-vote makes more sense to me if he's scum and actually intends for it to never reach that point.

The people who aren't willing to vote the two vote leaders because oh noes town reads need to realize that there's a fucking reason those people are on the chopping block and that lynching one of them leads to more information and a greater chance of their oh so amazing scum reads being lynched.

Lynching is pro-town.

@Smudger: OK, that kinda makes sense, even if you're wrong. I think perhaps my caution looks overdone because I over-explained it? I just don't want to look like I'm making it up as I go along if I leave it out now and get called out on a lack of reasoning later, so I put all my reasoning together.

I can't see how it's playing with one's wincon to threaten to hammer someone known to be on one's own team (ns himself in this case) when the alternative was doing some scumhunting and lynching someone who actually might be scum. At the time there were a few hours to go and other people with votes. I can see how it's do-able D1 when there's no information and the wagon'll have a few others on the take a look at, but isn't it very risky D2?

Your (cats) unvote on Mala greatly annoys me. "I see nothing wrong". Bullshit. It's not like scum will be scummy for you to catch them. It makes no sense why you'd flipflop like that and it makes me think you just thought of some excuse to save Mala and secure that the lynch will be ns instead.

Everyone and their grandma is pushing ns. That looks like ns is being lynchfodder. As scummy as he might seem, apathy is a thing that can happen.

My vote was mostly on her in the first place as pressure to let her know I was serious about wanting replies to the questions I asked. It served it's purpose, I removed it. She looks less scummy than notscience to me, and I didn't want to leave a vote on my less scummy read while I was away.

Someone's going to have to explain to me how fixed the wincon stuff is when this is all over.

ftr offering to self-hammer is not playing against one's wincon. It gives information to town, which is much better than letting the town no-lynch and then wagon the same person in mylo/lylo.
