Xerath is a rough matchup for alot of things in lane, I don't know enough about lane fiddles to say though. He's an odd one.

@whateveryournamedotafanboi: because they're of the same genre and they're both good games.

Just tried Heimer in three games. I quite like using him.

Also trying to get used to building items based on who I'm playing against rather than using guides.

Simple answer: because this was originally going to be for discussing all DotA-esque games. Then Otolia decided that we talked about LoL too much and that he wanted to troll.

I just lost a ranked game I duo queued with a friend in because a graves wouldn't farma nd wanted to roam and fed the annivia I was midding against 3 kills. I was up on her 3 kills also. he had 80 cs after 35 mintues

Just played a game with my roommate. We went into the lobby and asked what everyone wanted to be, and nobody really responded. I said we needed a mid and someone went Anivia. I asked if anyone had any objections to me being Graves, they said no. My roommate went Jungle Nocturne. Nobody objected, and we locked in... next thing I know, a Riven and a Fiddlesticks autolock. I'm pissed but contain myself.

We get into the game and Anivia refuses to go mid, so I'm forced to mid against a Morgana. Fiddlesticks goes solo top and Riven just says, "Riven is a shit champ anyway" and goes bot with Anivia.

Needless to say, we got rocked.

Why do people refuse to communicate in a game all about communication?

Is it any better in ranked queue?

It's really a mixed bag. Some of this game's playerbase is obsessed with playing whoever the hell they feel like. It gets better once you hit 30, and gets even better once you get more than 2 people. Queueing with 3 or 5 leads to better teams in my experience.

I think part of the issue is that the North American server caters to not only the US, but Canada and Mexico as well. (As well as anyone who just doesn't feel like being in the Euro servers / is in a geographic area not served by any server.) I see an awful lot of foreign languages, which makes pregame communication quite difficult.

23 Kills behind, 4 Towers and a bunch of CS down.

No problem, twitch op.

I feel like I'm getting really bad at this game :/

I did, however, learn how to bait enemies as Kassadin by skirting around team fights when I'm low health...

Every pub I've been matched with when going with a group of 3 have been fucking horrible. Like people that shouldn't be remotely near where I'm at.

Troll inhouse. Solo Top as Support Janna against a 1600 AD Gragas. Got my ass kicked at the start but starting stomping pretty hard in midgame lol.

Sorry. By foreign, I mean non-English, which for Canada and Mexico aren't technically foreign.

I play on the US servers for precisely that reason. English speaking proportion of playerbase, even if it's just rudimentary "mia" "re" "gank top" "come take blue" stuff, is FAR better on the US server in my experience.

Well... I usually play on EUNE, and the only times when I've seen non-English speakers (even though nearly everyone I've seen has English as a secondary language) are when they are in a premade of 4 (me being the random) and they usually use words such as "doushe," "shiphead" or "monro." It's usually quite funny.

it's funny to see a teammate insulting another teammate (who don't understand chinese) by chinese.

i wish i had translated them for him. that will be fun.
