Check the mod note on the Inquisitor factional ability (kill, then recruit). The recruit component - and ONLY the recruit component - couldn't be redirected.Vaya wrote:Wait, I'm confused about something. I saw FL target BB, yet Gorrad was recruited? Did FL target BB for something as well?
On Night 3, FL targeted Gorrad with the factional ability. B_B's bus drive redirected the kill component to B_B... but it couldn't redirect the recruit component, which resolved targeting Gorrad as normal.
That mod note is also important because it's the reason why my failure to note B_B's action N1 was so important. Had that ability resolved as normal, Riceballtail would have been killed N1... and the recruit component would have resolved on Papa Zito as normal (Mafiosos could be recruited, although they would be force-replaced in the process).
Also note that said error is why malthusis got deadline lynched Day 3... the Inquisitors were unfairly weakened by that mod error, and forcing the malthusis lynch was the easiest way to rectify that.

Even if it's large I'm likely in for it.
There were a few mechanics I considered adding late, but I think I'll just not talk about them. They might go in Mind Screw 4, after all. (Yes, Mind Screw 4 is coming. You have been warned.)

And I dunno, your set up was decently screwy as it stood. And pretty well dome IMO.

Seriously, what the hell was wrong with you people?
As for SK with a recruit, it only works if the kill is stopped or redirected. I also only had one shot immunity to kills, and that only lasted til I successfully recruited.

Actually, all inquisitors had the ability. Only one could use it though.well, yeah, so in other words an SK who recruits if his kill fails. sweet.
did your recruit get the inquisitor kill/recruit ability if you died? or did he become essentially a survivor?
But, SKs are underpowered as is. You have to survive both lynches and NKs through the entire game on your own. Either you get your NK immunity buffed or you get some other bonus.
I personally think Tar's Kill Recruit bonus is a fairly decent role.
