the weird votecount negative-4 mentions xz03yx and still has me voting for maruchan and says maruchan is at L-5 despite having votes from 8 people i have just given up on looking at VCs super closely

xz03yx has been removed from the VC, and the VC has been corrected.
Additionally, in order to yeet Maruchan, a unanimous vote from all living players is required—not a simple majority. AFAIK, this vote is tracked separately from your normal vote.

With Korina being the BACKUP MOD, I theorize that voting Maru out results in Korina inheriting Maru's role (MOD), and thus the game becomes a CULT GAME. I have no proof to this theory as of yet. but I've dispatched my army of informers to sniff around for evidence.
