There first few posts look like scum filler to me. Things happen slowly, then all at once. At first, it was nothing but a suggestion here and there, an ancient Tree remembering an old nymph's tale too well: "Telling you... never been this bad before... this close before... we're enchanted... not supposed to happen..." The smoke never let down, though. It grew nearer and nearer, filling heads with panic and canopies with a toxic dizziness.
"TELLING YOU... not me...!", rustles Old Tree.
"Well... maybe more sure... if you were not HOLDING THAT AX- OW!! Why did you just HACK at me?!" - gasps all around as rainbow lymph oozes out of Titus - "hurts... ooouhh... feel a little wobbly..."
Titus falls to the ground with a big THUMP.
