The slot with protective roles allegedly wanted to hood Mako to save it, over using his protective roles. Then he hooded Ank and made a big deal publicly about it. This was under no pressure. Clearly saving Mako and hooding Ank are more important priorities.

Bitmap's priorities were

1) Save scum by outing as neighborizer
2) Hood you (probably to pocket and to verify neighborizer)

Why out a neighborizer as a protective?
