Been busy, gotta read
Scum sometimes do posts like yours above to be like, "Hey I'm here and still involved but I gotta go sry." Town can still do it, but can be a red flag for finding scum.In post 5721, davesaz wrote:What do you mean by anchoring? In post 5697, EspressoPatronum wrote:Looks a bit like anchoring here. What gives you this feelingIn post 5685, Miss Lane wrote:UT is intentionally obtuse, I think. I've never played with them before but I've also never played with anyone that I can even compare them to in how abrupt their posts are. Every time they say something it's like hitting your head on a pipe you'd never noticed was there before -- their posts regularly knock me off balance. I imagine that it's probably purposeful. Is that scum indicative? Quite possibly. I don't know past that. I need to go to work but I'll look at them more when I get back.
meaning what? what exactly is the point of disagreeing with someone's impression of me. like, you're arguing with something that's pretty objectively just what she thinks when she reads my posts. it's pointless argumentation that does nothing to advance the game. it's just another fucking post we all have to read and say "ah yeah, that just someone typing to see their avatar next to some words"In post 5732, Gamma Emerald wrote:What gives you this feelingIn post 5685, Miss Lane wrote:UT is intentionally obtuse, I think. My first instinct says your impression is wrong
Why do you have yourself as a dayvig optionIn post 5717, Wooper wrote:meIn post 5715, Pine wrote:Duck, who should I dayvig?
anyone except:
Pine
UT
Rauth
TSE
Bungle
xofelf
Miss L
pisskop
zor
Ceph
Creature
KidAmn
InsideJob711
but mostly me
or Nero Cain
Titus is a decent dayvig but not the greatest
you could also dayvig me

Essentially I was indicating I felt the same way Titus does, where your general personality seems to be what was described. But it was also possible she (idk what pronoun to use for Miss Lynch tbh) was focusing on something that was not the standard and if she was then I would have liked to see what it was and form my own opinion of itIn post 5734, Untrod Tripod wrote:meaning what? what exactly is the point of disagreeing with someone's impression of me. like, you're arguing with something that's pretty objectively just what she thinks when she reads my posts. it's pointless argumentation that does nothing to advance the game. it's just another fucking post we all have to read and say "ah yeah, that just someone typing to see their avatar next to some words"In post 5732, Gamma Emerald wrote:What gives you this feelingIn post 5685, Miss Lane wrote:UT is intentionally obtuse, I think. Lacking other information, I agree w/r/t Titus. It seems over-explainy. Disagree w/r/t JBingle, he's the only one on that list I don't skip or skim.In post 5733, Untrod Tripod wrote:I'll just save you some time and histrionics actually
Pine hadn't been around so I said "ayo Pino you got a dayvig" to which he responded "no who should I vig" and I posted the list of people who have clogged the thread with needless self-centred bullshit. you saw your name on a list, panicked, and pretended that it was a serious request to lynch you.
moving on. I got scummy vibes from the post Titus made from that alt account. I felt it was unnecessarily hedge-y in a way that scum usually does when they feel like they need to fake content but don't have real reads. that's my reason for voting it and I haven't seen anything that makes me want to move.
I'm listening...In post 5740, Menalque wrote:So is that a no on takers for a UT lynch then?

Regarding the name itself, I'm not actually sure why it's called anchoring.
Vork is D1 town for the way he approached the gov shot. Could maybe be cult in the same way you could be, but not interested in lynching there for the same reason I’m not interested in lynching youIn post 5700, EspressoPatronum wrote:Can you walk me through why Vork is town? I'd be happy to look at UT or Wooper tomorrow.
What are your thoughts on Amrun's list of ppl who can harm town?
Big oof for you thenIn post 5742, Pine wrote:Kinda wish I'd used my vig on Menalque
“Almost came close to asserting something” are you blind to the fact I have been voting TSE for a non-policy reason that I’ve had since D1? Or that I took a stance on Vork vs Drew D1? Or that I had a distinct idea of what I felt about the three people who made solid effort to get the Governor? I think it’s a straight up misdirect to say I’ve been “not asserting” this game.In post 5738, zoraster wrote:I don't really want to do a vanity vote here, but all of TSE, Vork and Virgo/Titus seem like pretty dumb lynches to me.
VOTE: Gamma Emerald
Still scumming about.

Boy, almost came close to asserting something there.
