I actually disagree.

There are no absolutes in mafia.

But I'll just tell you the answer anyways. That the norm, is for scum to stay in the backdrop on D1 (AGAIN yes you can find examples to prove anything, as there are no absolutes... BUT that isn't the norm) Only a really experienced player would attempt to lead town D1. (likemyself, and I don't recall ever trying to lead the town D1 as scum. The closest thing in memory is Mafia Invictus where DGB and I went out of our way to be active early... but not necessarily lead towns decisions.) ....It would likely require a masterfully played game involving bussing partners and buddying certain town members.

I actually disagree.

So you think scum, go out of there way to gain spotlight attention on D1.....

I would likely do it as scum, but no. Steering the town/not remaining in the backdrop are different from going out of one's way to gain spotlight attention.

Ehh I feel like one is the center of attention (spotlight) when truly steering the town. Hence why I deem it rarer for scum. That said plenty of town get going late too. I'd just say scum avoid it early more often than not. Whereas I often rush to front when town. I actually meant not to do that this game, and don't think I have because it requires being "bossy" and I don't know half this playerlist.

Anyways this tangent is getting pointless.

Yes, I agree, but people should take a look at Macros' answers to my questions- Scum trying to give reasonable, logical answers, which are actually not what town would think.

Partially agree.

There's always one or two active scum.

*sigh*

Right now, feeling a little bit...lost. I'm a little busy right now dealing with more important things than playing, but I might be back later tonight.

Unvote, VOTE: Firestarter.

New-and-old, I've had scumreads on Khan, Firestarter, Pine, CCV, Ninja, and Psyche. 6/13. Null, I've got Maxous and DV. 2/13; total 8/13. Weak town I've got two, you and TML. Townread, I've got 1, LLD. Strong townread, I've got 1, drmy. Total of 4 townreads, out of 13, versus eight null or scumreads. Yeah.

Nero wrote:Mastin, why do you want to join a wagon that you think is scum driven?
I don't. But I did. I was part of the pseudolynch. At the time the wagon was at its strongest, I was a supporter of it. Hence why I include myself. I no longer wish to lynch rack, as I firmly beleive them to be town.

There can't be a single scum team of 8 is what I meant.

There could I suppose be 8 antitown roles in this game.

Absolutely no reason. Come aboard the Pine express my good man. I have a feeling he is scum here. Seems similar to his SK feel in NY142. (you were sk right?)

@ Benmage: thoughts on Pine now? You had him as town early on (around 145) but said you may be seeing the scum-Pine (565). Why no vote? Also how'd you get away with having no avatar?

I can only string up one scum and still find rack scummy.

I haven't completed my player review.

I've never had an avatar.

@vijay2vasandani - The fact that you're trying to start a counter-wagon on Pine
right now
can only be interpreted as an attempt to get focus off rack so that he can coast without punishment.

If I wasn't pressuring rack for reads, then I'd be with you on Pine. All I'm asking is that you stay your hand for now.
