Just so you know, I will have zero internet access the rest of today. I'll be back early Tuesday.
With 13 alive it takes 7 to lynch.
The deadline for Day 1 is 1 AM EST on July 5, 2012.

Awe. So sweet. My answers to the questions below may be of value, though.
↑ Thor665 wrote:Why are you asking us about this? You already seem to have all the information you need to draw a conclusion.
This is the first time flavor knowledge is biting me in the butt. I read a generic description on wiki [honestly did not read the whole thing] about a guy that was a main protagonist in DBZ. I just wanted to know if anything would be different for this particular [Saiyan Saga] iteration of DBZ as charatcers can evolve. In Ghostbusters, for example, Louis Tulley [Rick Moranis' character] would make sense as either a Miller or scum [since he was a reluctant "Key Master"] but would only make sense as a good guy in Ghostbusters II.
↑ Acosmist wrote:A 1 for 1 trade would be bad HOW?
I don't know yet. I guess it would depend on the PR's we have versus the roles the scum have. For all we know, scum have a GF-type role that can only be found by Goku so they have a special incentive to find that character. A lesser scum finding Goku would be a good 1 for 1 trade in favor of scum in that instance. If I go back to my Ghostbusters analogy, I was [Town] Judge Wexler in GBII. I could have achieved an individual win if I was the hammer vote on the [Scum] Scolari Brothers in that game.
I'm just trying to figure out how likely it is that Slandaar is fake claiming versus lying about a partial claim [because I don't believe, based on what I know, Goku would be a VT and therefore don't buy his claim at face value]. If I think he's lying about his partial claim, it isn't worth arguing about as long as I believe he actually *is* Town [which, again, I'm not 100% sold on yet].

And this is why I haven't removed my vote from you. I am 100% convinced that you are lying [you are either not Goku or you are not a VT]. I am, however, allowing for the possibility that you could be telling a half-truth [you ARE Goku but not a VT]. I am also allowing for the possibility that you have a fake claim [there is no Goku]. Just because you are the main protagonist of DBZ doesn't mean your role exists in this game.
This game was eaten by tigers but Peter Venkman and Ray Stantz were
in Ghostbusters mafia [arguably the two main protagonists] while Egon [me], and Winston were.

He doesn't look obvtown to me. The way he can't take a solid stance on the roleclaim worrying. His waiting for someone else to agree with him before he actually takes a stance that's not what I call obvtown.

He took a stance that counterclaiming isn't something that should be done. So yeah, lynch time nao

I don't care what scum we lynch today?
Am I seriously on mafiascum and not some retarded site where no one knows how to play mafia? You counterclaim. That's how it works.

Am I understanding this right? You think Slandaar is town because no one counterclaimed him, thus Yates' suspicion of Slandaar is scummy?

Wow, NO.
Yates is saying if someone else is Goku, THAT PERSON SHOULD NOT COUNTERCLAIM SLANDAAR. That's absolute insanity and, hey, do YOU know Yates? Does he strike you as THAT TERRIBLE at mafia?
Are we are the point where we don't counterclaim?

I have never seen a scenario where ANY 1 scum life would be worth sacrificing for a town PR. And what the scum know the existence of this GODTOWNPR? Doubtful. This stretching is ridiculous.
Please just kill this nonsense already.

↑ Yates wrote:So I just wikied "Goku" and see he is the "main protagonist" in DBZ. If Slandaar is claiming VT on a role that seems like it could have been a PR, then that seems like a ballsy fake claim unless he is trying to lure the real Goku into a cc.
Am I wrong in thinking Goku is likely a PR? If not,
am I wrong in thinking real Goku might not want to counter claim?

1) Yeah, he's incredibly likely wrong that not counterclaiming would be a good play. Slandaar's wagon had died by the time Yates suggested the possibility, though. You think this is scumYates' master plan for pushing through a lynch on Goku? You just said you think he's a good player.
2) You're the one he was talking to when he explained that, so it's more salient for you than it is for me. His last post before you voted him for being dense was just explaining that he thinks Slandaar is lying so that's what I assumed you were talking about.

1. I already told you I don't know flavor back in ISO post.... oh...
ZERO.
2. I have already
LINKED you to a game I was in where the TWO main protagonists didn't exist. So, excuse me if I don't just jump off the dead Slandaar wagon the first time he pretends to tip his hand.
3. I already
LINKED you to a game where mafia had special win conditions that were predicated on finding a specific character.
I'm not trying to outguess the mod. I'm trying to make sure we don't screw ourselves over by doing something stupid. If that is somehow anti-Town, I'll play against my win condition and vote
myself
off retard island.
Benmage and Acosmist could both use a thorough investigation as they pretend they don't understand obvious logic.

-Main protagonist don't need to exists, also they could be a safeclaim... What is your point?
-GBII was one of the worst design games ever. It contained a miller, 5 scum in a mini, and WIN CONDTIONS changing. That game is an atrocious example and the furthest thing from the norm. GBII should've been labeled BASTARDmodding.
--For your mind to leap to this... is outrageous.
And none of this still makes sense for why you disbelieved Slaandars claim. (Can you go over your thought process again about why/what initially you disbelieved, thanks)
-He's name claiming as some sort of mafia traitor/recruit? Thats the first thing that pops into your mind, over VT. Have you heard of Occrams Razor?
Basically I just still fail to see your conclusions... so please reexplain your initial thought process.
