I'm going to do more of a Post Based Attack on FTL, because it works better for how I see him as scum.

Post#53, Gets set up to vote either me or venmar easily, depending on which way the wagon seems ready to crumble, and buddies nick, hard. note how later he votes venmar, then switches his vote to me as my wagon builds.

Post#76 is another buddy post, this time to BNB.

Post#99 should be read as "Damn, people aren't trying to lynch you, better get my vote off now and pretend it was a reaction test."

Post#144 should be read as "Hey look, a wagon building on the other one, BANZAI!"

Post#223 proves that his reaction test is shit. "All I wanted from venmar was to tell me I was waffling." Erm, DERP? Him saying that has nooooo bearing on being town or scum.

Post#229 "I'm not saying you're scum, just that you're acting scummy." This post also includes the brilliant line "If you think someone is scum, vote for them." Which is wrong on so many levels I am just not even going to start.

As for FTL, the back-and-forth with the MS head is what gave me the town read, and again if I need to go into more detail, later.

The general ease with which people are handing out townreads is making me nervous, given that I abused the fuck out of that last game to coast to the win.

Now that I'm fully caught up, I would be down for wagoning Mac or Rach. I could easily want to wagon Mala depending on what she posts when she comes in.

TD, your 525 feels pretty biased. I explain a lot of my approaches and your interpretations fly in the face of what I've written in the thread. It feels like you're reading my posts in the light of "This is how I could interpret this as scummy" rather than "How could I interpret these posts."
I have no clue what you mean about the question post earlier. My latest post behind that one does end in a question. I'm wondering if your frustration over how I've handled your case is painting how you're handling my case. I've polarized you, I feel. Does that make sense?

It's not a misrep of you when I'm positing an interpretation of your play toward you, in order to see how you respond.

Also, TD, you call it buddying, but I've already told you that I'm trying a much more friendly approach in this game. I'm sorry that you see trusting and doing work for other players/town as buddying. I think that, as a group, we've got to find scum. I found scum on my own in Xenoblade and all of you collectively shit on my reasoning. I'd rather not have that happen again.

As for this game, I'm not sold on Mac. I think TD is scum, although now I'm leaning a bit more towards frustration-biased town. Still, if TD is scum, his hard push on the Mac wagon is either a desperation bus or a mislynch. I agree that mac is pretty scummy, and it's hard to refute TD's points against Mac, but I'm still not giving up on this one yet.

I feel that the points brought up against Mac expose him as scummy, and that it would be an easy exposure to exploit. That's why I'm trying to figure out the nature of TD's approach to this game, and why my vote stays where it is.

Everyone took meta from that game and used the shit out of it in their ongoings. This is just another ongoing.

And nobody from the last game is going to be hyper-cognizant of their gameplay from last time and try to emulate it if they were town last time and scum this time.

I am not seeing players replaying their previous town games so far. And there are quite a few players who weren't in the first Xeno game playing.

I'm not seeing players who were scum being all weird about that in this game. Except you. Maybe winning that game is the reason? I'm reluctant to ascribe your play so far to that, though.

I feel like you are kinda hyper-sensitive about Xeno 1 and don't look comfortable in this game at all so far.

I'm thinking about day 1 and I'm not seeing a lot of parallels in reactions to the negative utility PGO claim vs the first game's miller claim.

MS, Varsoon, Cabd, Ghostlin, Majiffy, and Nacho's 1 substantive post. None of them look like they are trying to reprise how they played early in Xeno 1.

You could argue that mollie is, but it just looks like her usual town game to me so far.
