With 12 alive, it takes 7 votes to lynch.

Yeah, you're right. Took it out.

No. I was actually focusing on my other game. In actual fact, there was not all that much to say as:

1. There is too much content and I am quite busy (asI have already said), hence my skimming.

2. The majority of the game is focused on Ploben's IC claim (that's where the two major wagons are from).

You do realise that not only was Open 638 my first scum game, I also ended up making my partner my strongest townread.

Why? It's pro-town to confuse the mafia so they don't actually know who the real traitor is, and personal incentive of being less likely to be night killed.

In other words, a "traitor signal", in itself, can be a town tell just as much as a scum tell.
Not a bad post

But it makes me consider you two being scum together considering her hard defense of you and her theory that your wagon is scum lead while plobens is town lead.

Devils advocate you're still town and she chainsaw defended you and you've hopped right in her pocket and are town reading her for it

Or you're both town

Those worlds go from least probable to most, but we shall see now shan't we

Cool when do you have time to focus on this game?

1. You said that before and I'm still left wanting

2. Demonstrably false for the last 200 posts or so minimum

Giving self-scum meta is useless

But if I see a traitor signal and someone says "I was just town signalling" I'm not going to buy it...

The personal incentive of being less likely to be night killed makes me only believe it if they also claim pr afterwards, otherwise it's really scummy to basically confuse town just so you can live on as vanilla town

I weakly townread Florestan and Dunstrall. Ploben is a moderate town read.
Rule of 3 on florestan Dunn and ploben if btd is scum. My money is on florestan bc btd said he likes to null-town read his buds in werewolf chat in that open game, and Dunn has been giving me good feels all game
Wait so are you scumreading BTD or is that a what if scenario

People seem to scumread me for my inactivity in this game. I don't see how being busy in Real Life and having additional games is scummy.

UNVOTE: Karnos

Man you really need to back off on that tinfoil theory though you're omgus tunnel isn't going to help, especially since you were a scumlord all game long

Not voting Ploben, pretty sure he's town

Here's what I'm thinking now:

VOTE: KuroiXHF

Correct - quoting the time of your role PM is quoting your role PM. Please don't do it.
Just to clarify: I was talking about the timestamps on the OP when the phase 1 role-PMs went out, the timestamp on Ranger's #3, and the timestamp for the phase 2 - NOT timestamps on role-PMs.

Chip if you want to work with me can I get your thoughts on Alpaca/Kuroi, Ranger, Scott Broisius, and Btd6?

Not sure if I've seen thoughts on any of those people and you've based everything off of me being mafia with ploben and duppin (by the way you can't honestly believe that karnos is so town that 3/4 votes on him are all mafia)

duppin when you're on I have a question for you. but it's a real time question so I can't ask it now. hope to run into you

@Dunstrall: Sure - I'll even throw in thoughts on Florestan for free. Prob in about 8 - 10 hours from now.

I think I've pushed the ploben thing as far as it can go for the time being - but I still want to hear what he has to say about duppen being focussed on defending him all game long. And I still need to look a bit closer at you, as the third member of my mooted "axis of evil".

As for karnos, yes I am reading him as Town. Partly because, although it might look to the casual observer as if we are pushing the same line against ploben, there are actually a couple subtle differences which make me think he is putting some real thought into his case and not sheeping me. I certainly don't agree with everything he says, and some of it looks a bit reachy, but I think that is just overeagerness to catch scum. I feel that a lot of what he writes is generally misunderstood.

So you disagree with my analysis that he has spent the entire game defending ploben/attacking karnos (these two things strongly overlap, since karnos is so hard on ploben's case), to the exclusion of everything else? Did you read my ISO of him?

unofficial VC

karnos (3) - duppin, BTD6, scott brosius
Ploben (3) - chip butty, karnos, ranger
Kuroi (3) - shadow, ploben, Dunnstral
Ranger (2) - pantherpunt, florestan

Not voting (1) - Kuroi

interestingly ploben and Dunn both moved onto Alpaca/Kuroi

my town looks like:
chip
ploben
Dunn
duppin
karnos

@Dunn I've never actually seen your scum game yet so I'm not sure how well you can mimic your town game. Got any links to share with me?

This pings me a bit - we all know karnos isn't getting quicklynched. There'll be plenty of time for scum to slide off the wagon if it gets close to lynch. Stage 1 (pre-lynch): "You know, maybe we ought to think about this a bit more - UNVOTE karnos"; Stage 2 (post-lynch): "See? I told you we should have thought about it more. I bet there was scum on his wagon."

First three on the wagon; ploben, duppen, Dunstrall. Getting the momentum going, perhaps?

I read part 1 and then I realized it was a confbias ISO read and skipped parts 2 and 3.

191, 193, 194 is a nice little stretch. there are components of each post that I particularly liked, though I feel no need to point them out as he isn't being wagoned.
313 good
319/324 was an especially nice non-surface-level observaiton that I feel scum struggle to make
327 was good too

I find scum are less likely to re-evaluate their reads and are more likely to tunnel when there's a target as easy as Karnos. faking scumreads on people you know are town isn't easy bruh.

look forward to your thoughts on BTD and ScottB

If that is the case, you should be able to point out to bits of his ISO where he has done other than defend ploben/Dunstrall or attacked karnos, right?

sometimes town think other people are town and try to prevent them from being lynched.
he gives a subtle negative on ranger, a town read on you despite your incessant claims of duppin/Dunnstral/ploben scumteam, and in his most recent post says he still finds karnos suspicious but may be coming around on him and ask to hear more from alpaca

seems ok to me
