The queue won't pop until the required number of players Is met.
oh...i was just thrown off because in the other queues, im used to it saying "so and so's game in signups Y/X"..... : p
and have never been in a noob game where i wasn't a replacment
Completed games have been archived in the Completed Newbie Games subforum of The Road to Rome.
The Newbie Game/History wiki page gives a short summary of each game, with links to the original game threads.

In other queues, the games vary, whereas in a newbie queue, you’re always just signing up for what’s next, so the tracking need not be the same.

Generally there requires 6 newbies, 2 SEs, and an IC to fill a game, however it is best to have more than 6 signed up in case people flake out.
I believe we are over the 6 newbie minimum, so probably soon!
