Is it? Why?
I find 2 sum + 1 SK more likely than 3 sum + 1 SK.
I've never ever seen a two-man scumgroup plus an SK in a mini on this site; I've seen tons of 3+ SK games.

Plus, the town had a cop, a doctor, a jailkeeper, a psychiatrist. A psychiatrist plus a cured SK is effectively a masonry. That's way overpowered vs only two scum.

This is irrelevent, anyway, since I know from role information it's 3 and not two.
Given the combination of role and flavour for TDC (a female psychiatrist role- assuming this is the traditional can-cure-SKs version) whose flavour involves having sex with people.

I'd say that it would be incredibly misleading, flavour-wise, for the SK to also be female in this situation.
Note that TDC targeted a female (Gloria) and a male (Norton) character - so he didn't think his role would only work for males.
[/quote]

Well, yes. I was going to mention that, actually. Remember that she thought herself a roleblocker, though. 'Whore' roleblockers tend to work on anyone. Whore-psychiatrist is a completely different matter.

The Fonz - meta breaking mafia, much? Just because you've not seen it, doesn't make it impossible.

And saying I'm lying about being ckd's assistant is crap - do you have any proof that there weren't two assistants?
And it kind of follows my idea of duality, although it requires modification - Inventor had a pro-town and a pro-scum assistant.

Triple post - that's how dead this thing is:

Posting in all my games - I will be away from the 22nd to the 26th on a field trip, and may not have internet access - the hotel may or may not have WiFi. I'd like to stick around, but will understnad if you replace.

KoC- that would work if this were a criminal court. It's not, so we're dealing with 'is likely to be' rather than 'is beyond reasonable doubt.'

Besides, MoS unlike TSS is a competent mod.

I could lynch you or Selande. I'm reluctant to lynch you, because you're clearly dropping those items, but I can't necessarily say for sure - so I can't put you beyond reasonable doubt - jsut like you can't put me beyond reasonable doubt for a similar reason. Selande has been so inactive I'm tempted to lynch on the grounds of lurking alone - it's almost as if she was waiting for us to self-combust over this.
I have the cloak and broach, by the way, so I'm safe tonight, if I'm right about the cloak. I'll take a look at the broach, see what it does.

EBWOP - The same applies for WLC as for you, Fonz, btw - if the duality roles hold true, on of you is also scum, since you're both item-droppers who have proven themselves.
THe only person I could say I'd go for a lynch on certainly right now it Selande, if only because of the lurking and the fact that there is no-one opposing Selande that I can see for pro-town - therefore I have to assume she's anti-town.

Hm, I get your logic here, but still: I'm not scum.

And to lurking: Yes, I did that a lot, and I'm sorry, because lurking destroys games. (Although I was not the only one who did; WLC was worse than me.)

I don't believe there were two assistants. CKD said:
..
one
of you is my assistant (though I dont know their alignment), but I wont provide the name, just in case they can take up my work once I am gone...
(bolding mine)

So CKD knew the name of the assistant ... wouldn't that be very unfair against another assistant, be they scum or town, when it comes to claiming?

When did The Fonz proof himself?

Selande, is there any particular reason you're not voting KoC?

Posted: Mon Sep 22, 2008 5:07 am

Yes.
Because I also could vote you.

If your "insight" is true, then all three of you are scum.
If you are lying, then you are scum.

So in both cases, voting for you, I would hit scum.

Actually... if my insight is true, YOU have to be scum. But you might be the SK.

KoC is almost certainly not.

Selande: I could vote pretty much anyone right now as well, technically - but lurking and the mysterious way you've survived so long as a lurker (most lurkers get killed off as easy targets) make me wonder.

Theo again had overslept. That said, he was up late making sure the dragon broach would find an easier way to the party than the fancy cloak did the day before. Even though they came from his store, the thought popped up he didn't know a thing about'em. And the fancy cloak re-appeared! But this was all from hear'say, because when Theo rejoined the party, the items were already gone. Well, and what's the party anyway, there were only four of'em left. At least we got one scumbag. But as for the other three, let's say it's an interesting situation, but Theo didn't trust any of'em just one bit. His main suspicion went out against Hiram. He was the one irritating Theo the most. And he seemed to have some strange interest in Gloria, seeing more in her than most of the party. And last but not least, the fact he claimed to have five items, just after Theo confessed his story, seemed a bit awkward. That said, Selande was a bit short in her explanation of her story which seemed a bit dubious as well.

I just got a new laptop to replace my computer that wasn't working anymore, so I hope to be able to participate some more. I'm a bit at a loss now. I think The Fonz is the most suspicious at the moment, mainly of his interaction with Albert. KoC and Albert interactions make me think they're not scum together. With 2 kills tonight, it could very well be there are two scum parties. Or there is another townie with a kill ability. Also, sorry if I missed it, but The Fonz, what did you do tonight?

It seems like you are all back now. I'm kinda AWOL at the moment, so if you need prods from me or an official vote count, please PM ME to get that done. I will take care of those things as soon as I can. In the meantime, feel free to post unofficial vote counts if you can make do with that while I am busy.

Please, can we de-fib this game and get it alive again?
I say Selande lynch today, and then I'll have to make my mind up about which of WLC or Fonz I least trust.

Well, to be fair, Selande is obvscum too, since that role is clearly fake. (Then again, all of you are obvscum) She's far more likely to be SK than yow though, so a better lynch.

Like to see Weyoun explain 'ties to Albert' too.

...Hang on. Fonz, why are you so determined to see Selande as SK dead?
Oh, wait, it's because then the mafia would have a majority over all other anti-town and pro-town players...
Nice try.

Hang on, wait, that's an obvious scum lie.

I've stated explicitly that I don't want to lynch Selande but rather you, PRECISELY because she might well be the SK and I think you're certain groupscum.

See, what you've done there is taken the complete opposite of what I said, attributed it to me, and then said that was scummy. Which of course, is ridiculously scummy.

With ties with Albert I mean you were the one mostly defending him. I really don't like KoC behavior at the moment, who's just jumping around.

I don't think at this point there could be a scumgroup of 2 persons left. They could just sit out today.

Sorry again. I have worked long hours during the last weeks, and I have a brand new SO to occupy my weekends.

Re-reading the game, I think both The Fonz and KoC are scum (as in mafia or SK).
Still, it hasn't helped me to decide whom to vote for.

So: There a two possibilities left: among the three of you there could be
1. 1 townie, 1 mafia, 1 SK
2. 2 mafia, 1 SK

If 1 is true, it doesn't matter if I vote for mafia or SK; The Fonz can't be a Townie in this scenario (because his "insight" is a lie). So voting for The Fonz would be the thing to do.

If 2 is true, I'd like to avoid voting for the SK. I don't believe The Fonz IS the SK, because he defended ABR saying he could be the SK.
The Fonz wrote:
To be honest, if Albert is antitown, I think he's most likely to be SK, what with the 'was going to claim vig' thing and claiming bulletproof. We know we have one, since no-one's claimed a killing role. We probably shouldn't lynch him today.

"I'm probably the only honest person left in this room. But if any of you has some loyalty to the throne left, they should join me and
Vote: Hiram Buehler
