surprised how little info gathering scum had compared to town
the scum team actually looks pretty weak

Oh, yeah, I was not having a good time for part of that game when I realized how fucked we could have gotten by SK/VIG/info.

Well I did have a thing to check power levels, but levels are bullshit anyway. And I had a choice between looking at people with a scouter or shooting death beams.

What elsa could've happened, honestly.

Yeah, but un-recruited jjh could functionally act as a roleblocker

strictly speaking scum power level goes down with his recruitment; that's why I gave him the miller fakeclaim, I think it's pretty suboptimal for him to get himself recruited, but that's a pretty broad-brushed strategic point that I think it's easy to debate and I think most recruitable traitors just have to decide how they want to play it on their own given the information they have

I mean obviously I don't disagree with tossing the miller fakeclaim, ultimately you have to go with what you can sell to the town that won't get you lynched

but I think he thought it was just a "bad fakeclaim" when it was a little hint that a) town had a lot of investigative power and b) getting recruited and losing the redirection ability might not be a GREAT idea

the fact the setup had 2 actual millers does reduce its value significantly, i feel

Wait, I know you were one, but who was the other Miller?

Panzerjager became a miller as the game went on

Oh he was never in our thoughts really until he got me. Didn't even notice that until I brought go him threatening Masons day 1.

He hit me with a Demon bullet night one, i was so scared

Oh he was yours while I focused on giving Mastina deadly cuddles to make sure she died never saying I was scum. Mostly-successful there!

We thought he was an Arsonist for the longest time. That's why we thought we were positive when he didn't CC Alch being shot and not Flavor.

the max kills per night thing meant there couldnt be an arsonist

Well you never know. Krazy could've just said "fuck the rules"

Demon bullets isn't a very inviting name anyway.

I think the demon bullets also threw Alch because I did not have fruit vendors in the Starcraft series

Ugh. GG scum, well played.

I mean, I feel like I did terrible this game, going afk once in every while. Still, thanks to Torque for being an awesome partner, even if I contributed only a few non-meh posts. As a noobie mafia player (first time on Large actually), I appreciate him for helping me through the whole 238 pages of heavy awesomeness.

Thanks to everyone here involved in this game, Scum did a good job and deserves the win. Just that I wish I could do better. Everyone else, you are awesome as well.

Thanks to Krazy for this amazingly-Krazy game. Sad we rolled VT but I still had so much fun reading and being a part of this game.

Hope to see you guys again, anywhere, anytime!

PS. How the hell did Alisae guess who I am just by my first post? (No, that was pretty obvious actually LOL)

I mean like, we could have tried to convince xtoxm to townside after we lynched flippy but that was...effort. and idk if "I promise scum won't shoot you in the two nights to lylo" really gets him onboard.

GG everyone.

Also, do I lead a lynch on the cop with 2 guilties over panzers guilty out of spite again? Probably every time.

The second time it just made sense to keep the other people alive.

I wanted Tet alive and you were the other conf townie.

I also figured out Tet was Vanilla pretty early. Cheeky helped with that, along with knowing I was a Vanilla.
I'm faking the guilty on you next time you roll scum. And I will know, you haven't figured out your town tell yet.

Weird to think that I needed to cut town power in a game that scum won but I think that's most of the changes I would have made. Oh yeah I also needed to work on the wording of Xtoxm's role PM because there was actually some confusion there since some of the actives needed to be clarified as compulsively multitasking even though that wasn't on the card.

I do somehow think that this is the setup seemed to be better received than the others that I put more time into. I'm not sure if that's because people were more prepared for the level of shenanigans in my setup, or whether I actually am better off 'not overthinking' the roles in my games. I do think for how quickly this setup was designed, some of the interactions felt pretty good. I really liked certain things, like Flippy only being able to get an inno on Shiro if she transformed at night.
If this is honestly the state of mafiascum's town play, then you might have made town too weak.

I thought the setup was fine and the modding fine. Per usual, it's the "interacting with other scummers" part of this game that was trash.
