out of all my townreads:

Galron is barely here, which frankly I don't blame him for
Datisi's too frustrated to take me at all seriously if I try to push GL, which is one of the slots I find to be a high priority sort in this game
Harley Quinn is in her own world
Something_Smart isn't the type of player to make things happen or sway how the game is going
RH9 is giving me the impression that he's mostly worried about things that don't really progress the game meaningfully, which I kinda suspect is because of both his inexperience with the game and his age

That just leaves you, Taly, and Titus. Taly is almost certainly gone in intermission, and I'm seeing next to no circumstances right now where your and Titus' pairings aren't the next two pairings gone during a dance

That leaves me with essentially no ground to stand on unless I try to brute force my way through (which is the type of thing that has worked this game so far), with a broken town that is more than likely never going to be able to properly sort in an endgame scenario, and with me in a state where I can't do it for them

so I don't know what exactly I'm supposed to do, because from here all I see is that even if my reads are basically spot on, I can't actually verify them or rally town enough by myself to actually push them through

like it's frankly getting very old how easily it is to hide how easy it is for scum to slam through a kill on the pairing of one of the only people in this town capable of actually pulling people together, or shading pairs that are more likely than not TvT pairings, and just defending each other while the chaos just keeps reigning over the thread. Everyone is so far up their own ass that I don't think it's possible for this town to be saved anymore without something really drastic happening, and I don't have the willpower to do it myself

so basically this gamestate is fucked, I have no clue how to fix it, and I don't know if this town is savable at this stage in the first place

whoever's scum in this game did a fantastic job of making this situation the way it is

the fact that STD/Titus is being ran up right now is honestly really impressive

This is it's own form of AtE, a more intellectual type, that I dislike because it comes across as deviously manipulative. I don't completely disagree with some of the sentiment, but the way it's expressed, Alyssa, seems beneath you.
