I didn't like LLD's early interaction with SB9 where it seemed like she was propping him up for a townread to have him sent over to this side. It's partially due to her supposedly thinking he was a newbie player despite his joindate [and we literally just watched her do this to unwnd in Xenoblade 2] and SB9 going [oh this is obviously a tvt ].

And I don't really like SB9's push against Dunn here. Like his argument is that Dunn's setup spec pointing towards Bell being lying scum is scummy, and I don't get that impression. If there were other things he said about Dunn, I don't remember it because I was obviously not vibing with SB9's scumread on Dunn.

I also hate that SB9 spent most of this game crying about needing to be sent to this side, and then when it was pretty much confirmed that he was, his investment in the other thread tanked where he complained about not much going on while the other thread was waiting for us to sort out our shit first, and then deciding not to read this game during that time or during the night phase when he pretty much knew he was already coming over here Day 3. As a 'roleblocker'. Where is the town mindset here?

Alright, sure.

Dandelion Wine is what I expect from town them in a hood, more actually since they appear to be playing their heart out in the hood. This matches what I know of Cabd when he is town and in a hood, and they have over 300 posts in my hood.

As for what we discuss in the hood: Reads mostly, along with setup stuff, including crumbs and whether power makes sense or not.

And I'm pretty sure they're out of their scum range with the way they are playing.

I don't think that's happening here. Not for want of trying in some quarters. My earlier efforts at consensus building centered around Annie, and I'm really not sure how much impact I actually had.

What's your hypothetical townblock looking like right now? I worry for your threadstate as it's clear to me FL is town which is a scary thing to deal with

theres this kind of paralelism between all the claimed and known prs between all the threads, claimed protective starting in both threads, two roles that need to be stiled, the receiver pairs

im not saying they all have to be town because i don't know that and it'd be weird (plus all the pr claims are scummy) but things really do seem to mirror each other


and the intent with the turnstiles is obviously to create a logjam where not everyone can get to the other thread to do something useful and that weakens the expected effect of any potential power role

and most of the PRs basically outed themselves day 1 asking to be turnstiled, which is bizarre to me but id almost expect some multiplicity by design because of the whole logjam thing. i would think scum would theoretically have roles that only work on the other side too to give them some incentive to cross over but i dont know. it would still seem to be unconventional to me to ask to be turnstiled right away as scum just to block town and get locked into a pr claim but clearly not everyone thinks like me in that regard

but even saying that, if we split the two threads into pairs

two ivestigatives + a protective + two other gated PRs of some stripe

is not really outrageously far out of line with what seems to be standard balance for mini games in 2020? obv that is complicated by there being other roles and it'd be super dumb if scum just werent trying to get turnstiled but i cant stop thinking about how things seem to mirror

Okay, so you missed some of the parrallels but I’d been looking here too.

Both of us receivers started over there, with our senders over here. The people who seem to be able to work on either side seem to have all start forwards.

Both sides STARTED with a protective. There seems to be. Protective/blocker that can swap over to the other side- we have two claims on the table that fit this grouping from inverter.

1. Everytime I come out of a push with a townread people give me shit. People on this site are uncapable of understanding that you can push someone, see town, and back off. They just insta scumread it because it breaks their primitive “fight monkeys” logic. Grow up pls
2. My dunn push is just that, a push. If I see shit I don’t like I keep pushing. Who do you see me on right now? If I’m not reading until I turn in how do you expect me to get any valid read when everyone else just wants to hold hands and throw dunn a towniest player party?
