Too lazy to post IC right now.
- I would have loved to have lynched Joyce yesterday.
- I did not receive any fruit from anyone N2.
- According to the Night Action Resolution list in Post 1, Blocks happen before Redirects, so I don't think Confucius-Blocking-Wilde implies that Joyce had a guilty on Hogan. I really wish Confucius had read the rules before needlessly claiming.
- I'm concerned about the potential existence of a Mafia Rolecop. I woul like Wilde to claim all of his results before the day's end.
- I don't see any reason not to lynch Stein but I don't want another short day. If I'm not satisfied with Wilde, I would almost rather lynch him, as I feel more certain he is town.
- I think there are a number of reasons for no kill last night, and have little interest in pursuing Hogan at this time. I do not buy into the idea of a Mafia Fruit Vendor a this time.
- I still think that Lemony Snicket is worth looking into.
Now, it is time for my heart to grow three sizes. Merry Christmas to you all.

(I should make some corrections. I am actually a "Flavor Cop". I get just your role, not your alignment.)
"I would be more than happy to share openly my knowledge of all of you. On the first night I investigated our friend Dr Seuss. While we all know that he is a Gladiator, I also know that our host has permitted him to make a limited amount of challenges. I did not reveal his role because I wanted to see what he would do. I don't share the limit now because that knowledge only benefits Seuss's enemies, and thus our own if we count him among our friends. On the second night I investigated God, hoping to make sense of his absence. I appear to have been distracted in my pursuit of him however. Last night I investigated somebody who was revealed to me to be a Doctor. I would rather not expose that person without their consent which is why I would prefer to wait for them to step forward. If a person does not come forward I will accept a voice vote from those gathered, with every vote also being counted as consent to reveal their role if I have investigated them. Is that acceptable?"
((If you want me to reveal my results, post something to the effect of "I would like Mr. Wilde to reveal his night results. If I am a doctor who is not currently claiming, I give him my consent to reveal my role." This person has been suspected by several players. If they have claimed in thread they have not claimed honestly. If a claim comes forward I will confirm or deny it with my next post.))

I need to develop my thoughts on this game. After a review of THE SITUATION, I understand the suspicion on Snicket and Wilde. Stein has been scummy for awhile, and will probably need to be lynched at some point.
Kaufmann, why is God pretty much confirmed town?

Wait a minute, bruthas, I gotta know this. Now, all my little Hulkamaniacs out there have been pouring in the support but they keep asking me the same question, dudes. They wanna know, "Hulkster, why are Wilde and Confsuscious counter-claiming one another, but Wilde doesn't seem to care?" It seems to me, man, that Confuscious pretty much claimed the exact same role as Mr. Wilde, but with Confuscious having a roleblock element added in.
Mr. Wilde, how is it that you don't find this odd?

And furthermore, brother Wilde, why'd you RoleCop someone whose role was already publicly known, man? Seems to me you wouldn't do that if you were town.

Two more things, then I'll go forth and re-read our three flips.
1. Doctor should not come forward, and should not claim. There is no benefit, and should the doc die or become ineffective, MrWilde can be crucified.

OOC: Super sorry again. All on me and my stupidity.
After the much unprecedented break I took with Christian, mostly due to his ideas, I take my seat to get back to work. I notice a few details that I am fearful of while we are in a spirit of prosperity by eliminating two dangerous men. "Mr. Rucks, are you hiding?" I ask as look at him oddly. He had been absent for almost a month now! I don't think he was into the slaving business but I'm not the smartest gal around (n.b. Bella is).
I'd like to bring to the light something that Mr. Bradley quoted:
Jane Austen wrote:Can people argue over whether Seuss is here; that he is hiding, and waiting? The so honorable Poe is still definitely scum, though I'm not voting him, because my suspicions of Seuss have been vindicated; I feel they have been at least.
Now Miss Austen flipped scum (quite accordingly! Only one woman should be in this game!), however the honorable Mr. Poe is still living. Perhaps I'm missing something here but this seems like a bad dodge toward attacking him. No?

Sorry, Big Man Upstairs, I thought he'd said he investigated Seuss Day 2.
The fact remains, though, that Wilde and Confucius are directly counter-claiming one another, brother.

Hold on, now, sister. You're gonna tell me that Gertrude Stein tries to deflect the town off James Joyce's death (by accusing someone of the very thing The Big Double J was accused of), we've got two dudes roleclaiming Role Cop, and all you can think to do is dig up tired old chestnuts from two days ago?
At least put a little bit of effort into it, man.

Ahem Mestro Hogan I do believe that Mestro Wilde claimed Cop and that Mestro Confucious claimed Prostitute which seems to be a cross between a Roleblocker and a mini role cop.
Also welcome back Mestra James though your quote was from Mestra Austen a vile Terran spy who was able to keep our town people from using their powers, not from my humble self. BTW I do wish you would get my gender straight, I am most definitely female. I am Comynara and usually called either Lady Bradley or Leronis Bradley (to indicate my position as a monitor in the Tower.) I do not see why you persist on blackening the name of Mestro Rucks. Especially when we definitely have a Terran spy who needs a rope woven around her neck. My friends call me MZB.
As for the quote itself, I very much feel that Mestra Stein harbors much ill will against Mestro Poe for no real reason. I think he is most likely innocent of the charge and that Mestra Stein wants him dead either by lynch or other means.
So Mestra James why are you so willing to support the word of the vile Mestra Austin over that of our good fellow Poe? And what do you think of Mestra Stein? About the back and forth tween Metro Wilde, Mestro Confucius, and Mestro Hogan?

((We are not counterclaiming one another. We are confirming one another's roles. I was roleblocked by Confucius. I don't know why he would make up an additional ability if it weren't true. I'm not bothered by it because he's much more a roleblocker than a flavor cop, seeing as the things he learns are much more vague than what I get. I'm inclined to think he's town because I'm not sure why he would act the way he has if he were scum. Also, for clarity since MZB keeps saying "Cop": I am a
Town Flavor Cop
. Also, I know that women are made to be loved, not understood, but could EL James explain why Jane OMGUSing Poe and flipping scum makes Poe scum? Going to bed now. I'll write IC later.))

You know, brother, what really worries me is this: Wilde, you outted the fact that you had investigated a doctor last night.
How do we know you're not just trying to put that information out there for your scumpartners in case you get lynched, man? I mean, your buddies would know who you're investigating anyway. Or do you guys have day talk? Something's fishy, man, when a "flavor cop" tells us without prompting that they "found a doctor."

I don't feel like posting IC right now, so here goes:
I think all the claims are stupid at this point, especially with all the dead scum.
Pynchon's 601 is just terrible.
I do believe Wilde needs to claim and the Doctor needs to confirm.
I am not sure how swingy our loving mod would make this, but the amount of power roles makes me uncomfortable.

Unvote: Hulk Hogan
Vote: OscarWilde
1.)
First, Hulk Hogan, my role is not a direct counterclaim to OscarWilde's role. I am only told a tidbit that is
suggestive
of a player's role, and not the actual role itself. I have to do some thinking to figure out what role a player
probably
has -- so far it has been enough to at least confirm your claims. Also, the point of my role is role-blocking; the tidbits are just icing.
2.)
That said, my tidbit for OscarWilde is
far
more suggestive of "Role Cop" over "Flavor Cop." To avoid modquoting, I found a volume on vocational behaviorism (the study of finding out somebody's
job
or
role
by watching how they behave). I think OscarWilde is perhaps trying to change the wording because he is aware that "Role Cop" has a Mafia-like connotation, while Flavor Cop sounds more innocent.
3.)
OscarWilde's Day Two post started with "Good," which I will note matches the first letter in "Gladiator," his result on Dr. Seuss. This is making it more likely that OscarWilde was trying to make use of the common "start my first post of the day with the role of the player I investigated in order to signal to scumpartners" strategy. His Day Three post does not fall in this pattern (it does not start with "D"), but he could be lying about his result (if he even has one), or he might not have any more partners to signal to (if he is in the Orange Mafia group, for example).
4.)
EL James, please explain your Rucks vote from the other day. I asked you about this around two weeks ago now.
I also
do not believe
that you are actually forgetting about this game. Since you have a main account, you are therefore on MafiaScum, and as a result the fact that you are in a large game is not a fact that should continue to elude you. If you continue to lurk and use "forgot about it" as an excuse, I will assume you are scum using your alt as a shield against participating.

I must agree with Mr. Danielewski on the subject of doctor claiming.
Mr. Wilde, what do you have to say?
Will you live, or die?
Do you know nothing?
Do you see nothing?
Do you remember
Nothing?
I remember: I would vote to lynch Ms. Stein.
Are you Town, or not?
Is there nothing in your head?
Ms. Stein,
wo weilest du
?1
Waiting, I grow old.
Mr. Hogan, Mr. Kaufman.
I believe this man can say it better and more succinctly than even my dear friend Ezra Pound.
What shall I do now? What shall I do?
My vote on Ms. Stein most certainly must stand.
What shall I do tomorrow? What shall I ever do?
Voting Mr. Wilde seems the obvious choice then.
OOC: Confucius seems to be Town, judging by that last post. Will read up on Poe later as well - perhaps the terrifying Ms. James is on to something there, strange as it seems.

Mestro Kaufman having the doc claim now would be very bad. We have no clue how many scum are left. We still have not flipped a single Goon and I can not see there not being at least one goon for each team both purple and orange. If I am remembering correctly, we have had 2 Orange and 1 Purple and that Purple was a strongman not a SK. On top of that how could the doc verify Mestro Wilde's claim? Unless the doc protected said Wilde and he was the target last night.
I do agree that the amount of claiming this early is a bit much. Especially since none of the claimees were at risk of being lynched, nor do they have a guilty read. I think we can work on sorting them out later, however. Today it should be Mestra Stein.
