When these are literally your only two posts maybe you should replace out anyway.

man pretentious might be town but don't give me durf they're obvtown why don't you see it garbage because they've not obvtown.
they do have less votes than i thought though and this blackmail is clearly not effective so I'll get on this thing instead
Unvote, Vote:Zoidberg
also if you want like OPINIONZ and shiz then BT's iso 2 is the worst of his posts i guess if you wanna be all ANALYTICAL AND JUNK but all of what he's been posting looks like town-tone to me. Am totally up for lynching someone who is neither chesshydra or BT because faraday is generally right about town reads and I am slightly less accurate but still pretty confident that BT shouldn't get noosed right now.
also if you type the letter s and the use the tab tag accidently then you get STAB. it is super spooky you guys.
The wagon was early game fluff/content-generating-RVS and in no way likely to lead to a lynch. So, you didn't need to balance those factors at all - the risk of lynching town simply didn't arise.
why is what quilford said scummy
He joined what was clearly a non-serious joke wagon, then unvoted purportedly because he no longer supported the wagon.
Which would be fine - except that the wagon was clearly not serious from the outset. Thus, when he said he wanted to balance A (wanting no more three-person hydra) against B (not wanting to lynch town), B shouldn't have even been a concern.
In short, the explanation doesn't fit with the nature of the wagon.

BT+3
The point is that mentioning it achieves nothing other than serving as a placeholder/fallback. Making that post didn't add anything to the "case" against Zoidberg.
↑Ythan wrote:Catching up. Vollkan is trying to hard.
My questioning of Quilford consisted of 310 words, in 10 posts, over 47 minutes. I hardly think that's excessive.
Thunderhog wrote:
In my opinion, Kuribo and Vollkan over reacted to his actions - and thus 3 pages of this thread were spent trying to build a case against someone for something small. I've noted this by the way, and because of this I have scum leans on both Kuribo and Vollkan.
Assigning +3 points and questioning =/= over-reacting.
On my points scale, a normal scumtell is 5 points, a score of 3 means something minorly scummy. The scumpoints I gave him reflected of the fact that it was "something small".
But, seeing the potential for something bigger, I questioned. That's not over-reacting, that's playing properly.
Zoidberg wrote:
As much as it pains me to say I think Pretentious is town.
What's your reason for thinking that?
Om wrote: volkan just sounds like he's using a lot of words to explain small points and is basically going around in circles. The difference between him and kuribo though is that I felt that kuribo was somewhat genuine in his posting.
Regrettably and remorsefully one must attest that one has a proclivity towards the eschewal of brevity and the embrace of prolixity, notwithstanding the inevitable obfuscation so engendered.
(Seriously, though, like I said above, the Quilford pursuit was 310 words, in 10 posts, over 47 minutes. The questioning got confusing at times, but I really don't see how I was using too many words or anything - it was just that the line of questioning was kind of technical/arcane, and, to an extent, that I hadn't gotten an answer that gave me closure. When I got one, I stopped the questioning)

Somebody explain what's so wagonworthy about BT anyway? I mean, his posts are useless as fuck, but so are basically half the posts in this game already.

It's totally possible that there's something I'm missing that I'll likely find once I read through his posts again but plz help me in the meantime.
Speaking of which I really need to get around to reading up to page 15 before I go to sleep. Procrastination at it's finest.

then you probably hacked the game.
↑kuribo wrote:however trollie's an idiot if he thinks Matt's sloppy enough to slip up by "oh he didn't accuse me therefore he must be scum"
Did you read it as genuine idiocy or fake scum idiocy?
The kuribo-volkan-Quilford exchange gives me a townread on kuribo that I'm not quite confident in yet because I don't really remember making a concerted effort to read him before.
I like Thunderhog's opening post. He takes a tone of authority and "not dealing with your bullshit today" that I find is a little too forceful for scum in a game like this. So, decently strong townread.
Alternatively, BT's #421 is horrible. He sees an exchange between two players and Quilford, decide they must suspect them so a wagon will come easy, then vote him on borrowed reasoning. Not exactly something that I like at all.
im sorry nacho i did not mean 2 ignore u can u pls tell me what i ignored :<
when matt and trollie were arguing
and i was like "matt, i believe in trollie"
and matt was like "rrrrgh"
and kise was like "rrrrrgh"
it didn't make me happy at all

No...?
↑zoraster wrote:oh good. the game hasn't even been open 24 hours yet has 18 pages worth of catchup to do, which will take a while, and I'm being set up for a shot because I'm "lurking."
Complaining is not a good way to start out as scum, zoraster. You want to put your foot in the door and start strong!
Liking Om for town, still. Glazed over volkan's post; I didn't really see anything significant or interesting in it.

yeah i fail to see how thunderhog's first post is anything but a thousand words of irrelevant uselessness that he wanted other people to see as important for some reason.

I will try to get to this by the end of the day, or the end of the day tomorrow at the absolute latest. It's been a hectic few days at lab.

I think you're being intentionally obtuse.
A) He's not softclaiming. At. All.
B) He's clearly mentioned his "power" and it's unimpressive at best.
Could someone please clarify what this means for me?

For thinking they're town?
-They're pushing people to produce content and not lurk, which I think is pro-town.
-The case on Drench and BT I felt was legit
Yes, they are posting a lot of fluff and I wish they would stop. Saying "it's a reck game" is not an excuse because people like Om who are posting pages of garbage are basically throwing up a smoke screen for scum.

↑Nachomamma8 wrote:...and this terrible, terrible phrase again. Can we make everyone stop using this? Because it's stupid.
It's not as stupid as the entire Quilford wagon though.
The point is that mentioning it achieves nothing other than serving as a placeholder/fallback. Making that post didn't add anything to the "case" against Zoidberg.
It didn't, but I agreed so I mentioned as much. I guess it could look like fallback in hindsight but I was only chiming in.

Where do you gather that first part from? And of course it'd seem borrowed if I happened to think the same thing, which I do.
The whole thing about Vollkan trying hard is really dumb. It looks like playstyle more than anything.
↑dramonic wrote:@BT and Thunderhog: What are your opinions on each other?
I don't like his #407. It's commenting on a bunch of things without looking into town/scum. It WAS his first post and his other posts are fine, so it's really a minor thing.
