I chose Sven the first night because he was my strongest town read, so I thought he was the likely nightkill target. Similarly, I chose Selkies the second night because Selkies was town as well, Sven had claimed BP which means he'd survive a NK attempt, and I didn't think it was likely in a micro that there would be two roles that could avoid nightkills. (More proof that Arc's claim of bodyguard is fake). Of the two, PGO seemed a lot less likely, and I figured that scum might chance it and I wanted to be there when they did.

There's a certain pride in getting it right, though. we got it wrong the first two days (well...you don't get credit for being wrong on day 1 ) and I'm surprised as hell a day 5 is even possible given where we were night 2. We went from MYLO yesterday to TWO days to get it right today.

I was rereading day 2 yesterday. I had Majiffy and Svenskt both leaning town. When Svenskt replaced out I moved him from leaning to strong town read, but didn't adjust my Majiffy read at all until after nightfall. Then I thought that if Majiffy didn't start some serious analysis day 3 he had to be scum. Day 3, no analysis, just more tunneling. Will be a lot more cautious about him in the future.

Sometimes "too many" specials works in scum's favor. Could have happened in this game if the nights had worked out differently.

I really enjoyed playing with everyone, too. Games stress me out at times. I put a lot of pressure on myself not to let down my team. To the extent I yelled/bitched/snarled at anyone in this game, it's a reflection on me, not you.

When I ISOed myself to refer back to specific parts of the thread, I would sometimes read one of his posts and not be sure which of us wrote it. Our styles really did merge at times.

We plan to play more games with this hydra. I doubt we'll try such an over the top gambit again any time soon. (orcinus may disagree!)

But yeah this game was on like a page per 15 minute pace for a while and I was out of town at my buddy's bachelor party the weekend before last (right around end of day 1) and was only able to update at night; I'd have liked to have more frequent votecounts but oh well
