Honestly, if you all can't see the way he's manipulating your reads, you should think about his play in these terms "what would Scum!notscience do in this position"? The answer is pretty much exactly what he's done, agree with the case against his predecessor (because its infallible) but at the same time try to distance himself from jon (Katta is misguided etc - #579). Then he made a false dichotomy with Mr. Flay and RMP saying pitoli must have investigated one and if that one was Mr. Flay she got a town read. This is ridiculous given how convincing the reasoning is that she investigated Xiao on N1 and got a town verdict.
I never said I agreed with the case. Why should I care what your case against my slot is, seeing as 99% of it is against my predecessor, conveniently making it hard for me to refute anything you say. There are no definites on who she inspected. Honestly, I don't care what my predecessor did. I didn't read into what he posted all that much because I am reading the same people as he was, and I would rather have my own opinions than his. What reasoning is there pitoli insp'd Xiao? You can't confirm who she visited without a tracker/watcher, which cannot be in this set up.
Then he has gone and heaped dirt on NQT, whose posting has been solid all day, and you have all gone and followed him (ie: followed the slot who, up until jon left, you were satisfied was scum!) Seriously people think about the motivations of people's actions PLEASE!
My motivations- Catching scum. So what if his posting has been solid all day? You're judged based on the whole game, which is what you've been doing to my slot if I'm not mistaken. You judge based on the entirety of what is posted.
Also find it funny how Mr. Flay took the first opportunity to stop bussing his scum buddy and has now magically become convinced that notscience is town (#588). Flay also jumped on the new bandwagon way too quickly, which heightens my suspicions that he and jon/notscience are scum buddies.

Except when I flip town, you'll essentially set yourself up to be the next mislynch and town will lose. I'm not sure why you keep saying things like that.

If notscience flips scum (which he will) there's no doubt that NQT is town. You can't tell me that scum would try to heap dirt on a player who wasn't under any suspicion, right before being lynched themselves. It would be pretty much as anti-win condition as you could play.
I love how you're trying more associative tells. You're oh-so-sure my slot will flip scum, and when it flips town you'll just be like "hurrdurr not my fault." Not to mention it won't confirm NQT irregardless. He's scum. I'm town. Deal with it. I'm playing to my wincon by trying to remove scum.
tl;dr: Please don't get distracted by notscience and don't forget all the scum-tells that jon gave us.
