Well, to be perfectly honest, that kind of thinking is kind of what lead me to suspect you some, but due to the votes being placed already, even if I was sure, that option wouldn't be available, anyway.
I'm playing D&D tonight so probably won't have time to read up... will try tomorrow evening.
No worries. Have fun, go out and own some monsters, etc.
Also.. neon... completely off topic, but check out my kol-character.. i got my custom avvie the other day *grins*
Will do!

D&D tomorrow night too, so maybe no time then, well actually i have a hunter game from 9.30am till 2pm then the kids come home from school, then after they are in bed i have D&D till 11pm... soooo i'll try over the weekend.
We killed monsters, about 40 goblinoids. Then my DM killed off my NPC love interest.. I cried..
Back on topic.. I'm sure we will sort this out... eventually.
Always forgive your enemies, nothing annoys them more.
Yeah. I dunno. About all I can say is that I like bethelmark better than ziliu, given our choices.

Ironically, I just bought Thud! today, and upon seeing Brick's introduction, I knew we lynched the right guy.

Truth be told, I think you're pretty lucky I hadn't read the book yet. I don't think I would have bought the inability to unvote thing if I'd actually read Brick yet.

Name: Ardent.
Role: Mafia Godfather.
Flavour: You are part of a group of dwarfs new to Ankh-Morpork who uphold the more traditional Dwarf way of life. You work for this group of "deep-downers", dwarfs who never see the sun, as a liaison with other races. This puts you in a position of power and as a charismatic individual you know how to use it. Though your "bosses" may think otherwise, you decide on what course of action to take. Following traditional dwarf lore, you deem other races inferior. You know that destroying them is the only way to make a good Dwarf society. Helmclever (PlayerName) and Grag Hamcrusher (PlayerName) agree with you on this and will follow your advice. Also, as a persuavive talker you can fool people with a disproportionate amount of interest in your intentions.
Special Powers: Every night you and your accomplices may decide to kill someone. PM me the name of the player you want to try to kill to do so. If you decide not to kill someone, please submit a "no-kill." Your accomplices may disagree with you, but it is ultimately your decision what to do every night.
Win Condition: You win when the Mafia is in the majority.
Safe Claims: Captain Carrot Ironfoundersson, Sergeant Cheery "Cheri" Littlebottom, Sir Reynold Stitched
MOD NOTE: Ardent will turn up innocent to Cop investigations.
PlayerName: Big Reichmeister
Quote:
Name: Helmclever.
Role: Mafia Goon.
Flavour: You are a Dwarf without a clear direction in life. Recently, you have been taken up by a group of fundamentalist Dwarfs and you have come to believe in their ideology. Following traditional dwarf lore, you now see that other races are inferior. You know that destroying them is the only way to make a good Dwarf society. Ardent (PlayerName), whose commands you follow, and Grag Hamcrusher (PlayerName) agree with you on this.
Special Powers: Every night you and your accomplices may decide to kill someone. PM me the name of the player you want to try to kill to do so. If you decide not to kill someone, please submit a "no-kill." The responsibility for this PM lies with Ardent (PlayerName) although you may send in the choice in his place if necessary.
Win Condition: You win when the Mafia is in the majority.
Safe Claims: Captain Carrot Ironfoundersson, Sergeant Cheery "Cheri" Littlebottom, Sir Reynold Stitched
MOD NOTE: Helmclever has never been a devout believer of traditional Dwarf lore. Under the Cop's scrutiny he will start to talk. If that happens, his Mafia buddies will have to waste their night-kill on him to keep his lips sealed. This kill cannot be stopped.
PlayerName: EnderX
Quote:
Name: Grag Hamcrusher.
Role: Mafia Goon.
Flavour: You are a Dwarf Grag. This is the Dwarf equivalent of a religious leader. You are a "deep-downer", a Dwarf who never sees the sun. Following traditional dwarf lore, you deem other races inferior. You know that destroying them is the only way to make a good Dwarf society. Ardent (PlayerName) and Helmclever (PlayerName) agree with you on this. Your "deep-downer" beliefs make it hard to change the course of events on the surface, so you rely on Ardent (PlayerName), your liaison, to carry out your wishes.
MOD NOTE: The responsibility for the night-kill goes to Grag Hamcrusher if only Helmclever and Grag Hamcrusher are left.
PlayerName: bethelmark
Quote:
Name: Brick.
Role: Serial Killer.
Flavour: You are a lonely city Troll. Among your kind you are ridiculed for the cheap stone you are made of and you do not have many friends. This has led you to turn to Troll drugs. You are under its influence most nights because it makes you feel indestructible and on top of the world. Even though you are a demure and kind troll at heart, in this state you have come to the conclusion that you are not to blame for your problems with society. It is clearly everyone else's fault.
Special Powers: Every night you may PM me the name of someone you want to try to kill. If you decide not to kill someone, please submit a "no-kill."
Win Condition: You win when everyone else is dead.
MOD NOTE: Brick will turn up innocent to Cop investigations, because Brick is kind at heart.

I've underestimated my access a bit. Very sorry about that. Thanks CES for posting that. I'll try to reconstruct the night choices (I have a fully prepared file on my home PC, but I can't reach that at the moment).
I enjoyed writing the flavour, but I think I will go with pre-written next time. I just ran out of time (and, to be honest, movitation) to write what I wanted to write. I had a big final scene planned and a few other things that I would have liked to add. My access from now on will be a lot more extensive, so I might still add some bits in, but I'll have to see.
Thanks everyone for playing, btw.
I don't think scum had much of a chance after Lloyd's excellent deadline day 1, but I'm still pleased with how the set-up worked.
My night choices, for what it's worth, are as I think I've said: Stark night 1, and Ziliu every night since.
First two nights were basically a coinflip; I wasn't sure what to do with two claimed cops. Subsequent nights, I stuck with the given.
